You can already do that right now. Most online games(especially MMORPGs) with tradable items can be sold for USD, BTC, etc, with their respective black markets. But of course it would take you a lot of a certain game currency to buy a real life car.

It would be fun.The field of gaming will be expand much more and a lots people will take interest in gaming for the sake of money.

I agree, especially for earning in-game tokens and buying in-game items. There could be the possibility of cashing them out into real money at some floating rate of exchange, which would vary depending upon the demand for playing the game. You could have players there for the game and for the enjoyment of playing the game, but there could also be professional gamers, who earn lots of token from some in-game purpose and who can then cash out for real money. If players are required to buy a token to play, the supply of tokens can be limited to the amount the game's infrastructure has the capacity to hold. This would help avoid performance issues.

For my opinion, we should use Blockchain for another useful project, differently from the unnecessary things. As a matter of fact, the changes that he can make in our lives take us to the movies that talk about the future. Even the changes he made in the economy for the present time are so huge. You should not think so small.  ;)

it is no surprise that blockchain will be used for industries widely as blockchain is a leading technology nowadays. I just only imagine that many young people will stuck on gaming that can ignore their social interaction and become a social fools because they only need to do their rewarded hobby without working.   ;D ???

I want PUBG and fortnite, since they are the two of the top trending games to have gaming rewards in crypto, let the amounts be small but the moment they do it, bitcoin would be fucking famous than ever. Blockchain technology can be used alongside gaming and can make wonders. I am waiting for it to happen.

I don't think blockchain will lead to more teenager ignoring their social interaction through gaming.
The majority of people seem to find a balance between a hobby and social life.
Those who are addicted to gaming don't have an 'real' incentive to play. 
Blockchain (with rewards) in the gaming industry could of course lead to a form of hype, but i don't think this will lead to more addicted gamer.

I clicked on the link and looked at the site. I was talking about projects like this, yeah. I see Blockchain as the god of the internet, so it is necessary to use it on big projects, but nobody cares about it. The greatest reason for this is many people are afraid, so, governments speak so badly about it and people who don't know also believe their government, and that is the result.  ???

That's true, many people exaggerate this issue. Games are not the problem here, I would rather say that it depends on how someone was brought up. As someone said in this thread, there are some tokens or coins which were designed for games. Bitcoin has a chance to become used in games thanks to the Lightning Network which makes payments cheap and instant which is really important for microtransactions or rewarding players. Games that would be fun and give ability to earn money could become extremely popular.

It also adds transparency and security! I generally think the next wave of games in the near future will likely have components of all three (AI, AR and Blockchain). Where AI would enhance decision making, level strengths, environment shifting based on user inputs. AR would be the user interaction and visual fun and Blockchain would be used in the payments, rewards, transactions areas. Its a nice blend of the three.

Gaming for the sake of money has been already a thing since forever. People make money by selling in-game items and streaming games. Also, blockchain+gaming doesn't necessarily mean people will be rewarded crypto for their gaming or in exchange for their items. It could be for database/security reasons (e.g. item duplication bugs).
