Title: My MTGOX account is hacked...USD$ withdrawal convereted to BTC and stolen... Post by: wasserware on October 27, 2013, 03:09:11 AM Can someone help me with my MTGOX USD Withdrawal issue? On Sept 25th, I tried to withdraw my USD into my bank account. When I checked the account transaction history, the equivalent dollar amount was converted into BTC and sent an address. So lets say I wanted to withdraw the USD$500 into my bank account, when I performed the transaction, $500 worth of BTC was purchased and sent to an BTC address instead??

Withdrawals to bank dont covert to BTC.

By that, I mean you gave away your password to someone else and they took your money/BTC. Withdrawals to bank dont covert to BTC. Its confirmed, I just lost 8 BTC through the MotherF**** MTGOX MY USD$ somehow mysteriously converted to BTC and transferred to an unknown address when I tried to withdraw to my bank account. Post by: Roobotics on November 23, 2013, 11:00:41 AM You might want to try and scan your system for any infections, a virus could in theory hijack your login session and when you try to send yourself the money it malforms the request and sends its owner BTC instead, that is indeed quite devious if it's the case.
