If you want to get money from something risky first you need to understand how to hedge your money, i.e. choose some other safe tools of investment adding to it.

I think if you want to make money from ICO at risk, the capital we use is from free money. So we will feel calm.

I don't know if there is any clue speaking about risky ICO's because the word "risky" says it all for the best. It's just about how lucky you'll be, nothing more; there's a minimum things you can put your influence on during the risky investment.

Seems an adventurous person will still invest in a "risky" ICO but yeah. You still can profit I think. Jump in and Jump out as fast as you can. Just don't expect a high percentage of profits. Because if its risky as you said it may fall without you noticing.

if u arent confident on any ico better don't enter in the ico campaigns it is nt adviseable ICO are risky at the end of day until it hit the exchange we cant say how the price will move

There are many ways to make a lot of money from ICOs, the most important thing is we have to know the project well, somehow you understand it, that's what I feel so far. Investing in an ICOs is very very risky but if we can choose the right ICOs to invest, a good profit is definitely we will get.

Just participate on a good ICO's and for sure great money will come to you. Don't invest on the ICO if you don't understand it because its too risky to do so and not advisable. We can predict market easily but those are just an speculation still better that you understand it on your own and it can make you more confident about the project.

You don't need to do that. If you willing to lose your money easily then risk a penny. There's alot of ICO out there and they are pretty good. You just need to review their whitepaper.

I think all kinds of investment or any business there must be a risk. we are ready to risk what it does not.

I do not understand why I invest in a risky ICO.. There are many ICO's to choose from... you can carefully analyze and choose a good project for investment!

I think it's really easy to earn money from ICO :). You just need to use your brain and your money :). You should know that brain is something really awesome that we have so don't forget to use it before you wanna ask anything :). Of course there is only way to earn money from ICO that is investing :).

profits is not guaranteed nor a sure thing when you invested on ICO's thats why i dont really believe on any predictions or recommendations because profitability would always matter on the potential of such project which as an investor, profitability would matter on your choice on which one you would fund up. Investing do always collaborate or do involves risk which means tendency on losing money is there.If you cant comprehend risk then better not to invest at all.

ICO's nowadays has been branded with early scam, i dont know why they called it like this, but if we want to make money then invest at the ICO then sell it when they were listed on exchanges, thats the basic rule of ICO investing, but if we are not sure about the certain ICO, then dont invest that how it is. While it is true that investing is risky, we need to consider our budget that is investable for risky investment vehicle.

If you invest in something risky, it means higher volatility and probability of a good profit. But at the same time you need to be ready to lose your investments, so you need to know how to cope with this risk and your emotions.

Unless it's some heavily shilled project, I wouldn't even consider investing in ICOs during such a bearish market. You'll almost guaranteed to lose money. During these times I cash out literally everything I have and stick to doing bounties and whatnot.

I lost a lot of money taking part into ICO. From that moment I decided to buy only real projects and real coin, not just a WP.

ICO has also been sold in the past 4 months and the prices quoted on the stock exchange do not approach the price of ICO. Because people get something and expect to suffer the damage they receive. there are too many scam projects. but if you examine this market a bit, it is very easy to distinguish scam projects. Well, it is more like gambling with the money you have! Just remember the saying "Lost something you only have", then investing in altcoin, don't use your credit card or do not borrow from your friends more than you can pay, just have a limit also then everything will be just fine when you lose, but if you gain big then use it to have more.

The industry itself could be described as risky since it is still evolving. SO why would you want to invest in risky projects.
I would rather go for credible projects in this space than risk scarce resources on risky projects.

Personally, I wouldn't do this unless you have money you can afford to lose. Better to invest in something tried and tested like Bitcoin or Eth.

If you think the ICO is risky that you want to invest, better to think twice if your money will get back again after ICO they have some ICO who are not potential to become successful they survive and the investor gain profit even it's risky. But if I know the ICO is not I will not invest because I will not want to lose my money. But we don't really know what ICO are legit or scam or risky.

Because it's risky so it's easier to lose money than to make money. Anyway, make sure that you understand what an ICO bring to the world before investing any money in it.

As I previously in other thread said, nowadays with current bearish and so volatile cryptomarket situation, all ICOs comes with great risk, and all investing in ICOs must be seen as speculative invest that might result in loss of money or failure.

I think there's no such thing as safe investment especially in terms of ICO, so consider all of the ICO projects risky. The thing with ICO is you'll either make or break and that depends on your researching skills to know if the project would be successful or not at the end. You are right, But all the ICO also risky investment so we don't invest these things it is not a good Idea because we should take some risk in this platform then only we will earn profit. So Who believe the ICO investment they only make good profit but some times they will loose the money and not everytime they will loose.

Honestly, I am against investing in ICO's because simply, there are many scammers in that field ( Scam ICO's ) and the majority of them are unprofitable  ( more than 80% )  especially when the ICO will be  on the exchange, and then there will a be a big fall in the price of Token. So making a large proportion of money in ICO is difficult and very risky due there are many scam ICO's, but when you are professional in that field, you can choose the appropriate one for the good profit.

As a matter of fact, I saw that there are many people starting in that field without any knowledge of the basics of this area, that's why they always lose their budget of money because of their rashness and greeds. Everyone must know that Knowledge is potential power.

Prediction market is like betting, but I don't bet anymore, so I prefer analysis and moreover I don't invest in risky ICOs .

Although, there are lots of ico projects that are very risky to invest in. I have experienced some of those projects.One really needs to have the full understanding of how these projects work before embarking on them. Of course, reading through the whitepaper is really a great idea.

I think there is only 1 way to earn money from ICOs is that find out safest project to join :). You no need to care if there are some other ways cause to earn money from risky thing like ICO, I think you only can earn by finding the best ICO project to invest in :). No need to know if whole cryptocurrency market is dump or pump cause you can find out good ICO project to invest in all the time :).

yes it is all a risk of the weakness of the law in the allotment for the makers of cases of fraud ico with a lure iming iming but there is a side of irregularities in marketing strategy or on a white paper that shambles :) :) :)

As my own experience shows, risky ICO is not worth investing, because there is a big chance that you will get on scam.. So be aware of this.

Forget it, many persons in the forum think they can beat the law of averages not understanding that is incredibly difficult, it is clear that if you could then your earnings will bepout of this world, but if you fail and that is the most likely outcome then you will lose all your money, to me that is not investing that is closer to gambling and while there is nothing wrong if you like to gamble, you should not invest in the same way than you gamble.

Investing in ICOs is very risky because it`s a lot of scams, but this risks can make a good profit for you. First of all, you need to know the projects as well, understand the concept of it. Then, invest your money in a few promising ICOs.

I should say these risky ICOs, unless their scams themselves, is always an opportunity to make once market goes bullish or the project successfully follows their project roadmap / timeline. It still depends on how the crypto market and crypto sphere accepts the token/coin itself too. Depending on how that project goes, you can either make money holding the token for months or years or by dumping them when price goes up ICO price or by doing the coin's TA, buying and selling through the process.

In my opinion, when we invest in an ICO, should we look closely as the crypto community talks about that project? What do reputable experts say? Does the product of the project have outstanding and many advantages? This will avoid less risk. ::)

As an investor we should keep an eye to those projects which would only give less risk and big reward but these circumstances or situation are rare to find or somehow do needs luck for you to spot on.
Its normal to think or say where the higher the risk the higher the reward which is true but I do agree on the thing you said about we can still able to earn big reward with less risk but we do talk about ICO, why would you try to invest if you do see the project isn't really worth?

   Every investment has affiliated wit high risk so be careful in investing specially in different ICO's. But you know investing in ICO is much profitable despite of being risky. There's no sure shot way or rule to make money on risky ICOs. And the chances of losing money are great as compared to the chances of you making huge gains when it comes to risky projects. That's not to say you shouldn't take risks, just that you need to be fully aware of the risks you're taking.

Well with markets being the way the way they are right now i would say almost any ICO investment right now is extremely risky, and if investing in the space proceed with extreme caution. Only look at those projects you really think are worthwhile, do research, and start of with the assumption that 99% of them are fraudulent and work your way up from there.

Basically proceed with extreme caution, and dont put in more than 15% of portfolio value in ICO's and obviously not the full amount in only one ICO

I prefer to invest in ICOs that already have ready-made products for people to use, but such projects are very rare, and most of the time I prefer to buy and sell coins directly on the trading platform!

What do you mean by "free money"? Do you mean money that has been collected in bounty campaigns and airdrops? Even in this case, I wouldn't call it as "free money" since you can still turn it into fiat money.

It's better if the team has already develop a product because you can try it yourself and see if it is worth investing to. Besides that, the developers would just need marketing to get more exposure and ask its users to suggest what are the things they need to improve so that more people would use it and then they can help more people too. This is the reason why telegram has raise a big amount because they already have an application that is use by millions of people.

I think you don't choose risky ICO because I am sure that there is many good ICO that you can choose to invest. but I realize when we called one thing as the investment then it means we get into the risk and we should realize about this. and if you think that you can handle the risk, you can go with that ICO and you need to sell it fast when the price can increase after the ICO is finishing.

It does not matter risky ICO or not, if you want participating in ICO, firstly you must learn project team, Whitepaper and other documents.

I think that actually it's not about the desire to participate in the ico company, but about earning money at risky ico companies.
