It's a bit tricky. Based on the "SS", it doesn't require users to post on that thread (somehow it stays within the rules [unfortunately]):

15. No on-forum altcoin giveaways. [6][e]

15.
<...>
Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.
<...>

Regardless of that, such behavior is equal to buying merits (ToTheMoon_XOM9IK (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1499733) should be tagged).

Plz show me how to get the merit?

Newbie asking how to get merits should be the victim of a gang bang first.

Is he giving them merits for their farts? facking lol. would he go to the court to say that forum stopped him from meriting farts of the members? report these kinds of posts before posting a thread.

I don't think this falls under an "altcoin giveaway" because there is no incentive for insubstantial posts.

I would say that if you think this is not trustworthy, to let someone within the local community to agree with you and leave a negative rating. I would not say the intent behind the thread was to purchase merit, even if this was the end result.

This user came up with a shit idea just to get merits I think in case this belongs to merit buying because he put 100 USD to the pot, but if he dont put some cash with it, it will be too hard to judge this one.

I totally agree with SFR10 this user deserves a red mark.

EDIT: He also maybe doing this to distribute the merits of his alts (this is Untrustworthy).

This is no different than any other type of merit abuse and he's basically just begging for merit. He might be giving the sMerit away but he's still getting what he wants out of the deal and if we let this happen then this will just be come commonplace. I guess I'll be seeing him the in the Court of Human rights.
