Title: "We'll start looking into it." Post by: chris200x9 on February 06, 2011, 01:01:43 AM Through facebook I had posted on the pioneer one (http://pioneerone.tv/) wall and asked about accepting donations through bitcoin. Here's how the conversation went:
me: "Have you ever thought of accepting bitcoins as a donation method? They are gaining value everyday, not to mention they would cut down on paypal fees." pioneer one: "Have heard about it but not very familiar. We'll start looking into it." I just wrote back saying: "http://www.bitcoin.org/faq and http://mtgox.com/trade/sell - for the moments BTC to USD conversion. I'm glad to see you respond and say you'll look into it, getting a big project like pioneer one on board would definitely be a major boon to the bitcoin economy! Cheers :)" I'm just glad to see a pretty big and influential project like pioneer one actively looking into bitcoin. |
