Coinbase has just announced that they are going to support ERC-20 assets, meaning that Ethereum tokens would be added to GDAX and later on possibly to Coinbase.

This means any of these coins (https://etherscan.io/tokens?sort=marketcap&order=desc) can get a listing on GDAX + COINBASE soon. Great news I'd say!  :o

This is a great news!
The first thing that comes to mind is ZRX.
It also can be KNC or OMG.

Good news for sure, but I am not expecting to see many ERC-20 tokens on GDAX/Coinbase soon. They are very slow to add new coins generally but now there is at least a possibility that we can find our favorite token listed there  :)

I don't even know what is ZRX. To my mind first options would be OMG or ICX, but ICON will have swap soon so no point anyway.

This is one of the most important news of the last time. It means that eventually, the average American will have direct and quick access to these new crypto-coins. It's a gigantic market that will probably catapult the value of these tokens.

Great news, though bad news can not be heard,and the btc and all crawls to his bottom,the news campaign does not help him even so strong.

This is definitely big news, and there's going to be a huge spike in the value of promising ERC-20 tokens once they're listed on coinbase.

I guess it's time for me to start doing my research in anticipation!

Bullish news. It seems like the Binance announcement made Coinbase respond with something massive, and I think this is it. But I wonder why they went for erc20 tokens?

I think we can expect a lot coins getting pump by dumb money due to speculations and hype, as well as devs riding the momentum with fake announcements, so to avoid investing in projects just because they are erc20 tokens, I think it's worth mentioning that Coinbase might be adding an asset (or several assets) that has a functional product, so we can forget about the countless projects selling dreams and hopes for the future with no working product.

Wow that is big news. I guess they realise that they will be left behind as soon as binance adds USD to their exchange. Who will want to pay excessive coinbase fees when they can trade directly on the worlds biggest exchange. Coinbase might be too little too late, only a few coins available compared to binance.

Finally good and really cool news. I think that it can give a new impetus to the entire market

Am I the only one sitting here thinking. Oh, great, something else for Coinbase to screw up?
I use them because, well no real reason other then as a backup to Gemini.
I used to use them more. But after having to wait weeks to fix problems I can just see this being a disaster.

We want it or not, Coinbase is one of the most important gateway for fiat-to-crypto (if not the most important). Lots of ERC20 that are quite popular with the crypto community will gain exposure to American capital - even if it's "only" from regular users (but could be institutional money also).

So, I will put this under good news if you don't mind...  ;D

This is massive news, and I've been watching the market since the announcement, and... ETH has been falling, along with everything else.
Really this is phenomenally good news that should be enough to start a bull market across all coins. Just goes to show I suppose that price moves aren't always tied to news.
