Idea of an open platform for video distribution sounds great but everyone will ask you that why do we need micropayments for Video?

The internet is filled with wonderful videos that entertain, educate, and excite us. Unfortunately, to enjoy that content we have to either give our most precious resources, our time and attention, over to advertisers inundating us with irrelevant commercials or we have to make a hefty commitment by paying for a subscription.
Thanks to PopChest, there’s a new choice: micropayments. Now, viewers can use bitcoin to directly reward content creators with as little as for an on-demand video experience. This is a feat not possible with existing credit card payment options.

I liked the following information. Network seeks to solve problems through its decentralized peer-to-peer content platform, which offers the distribution of content creators with awards distributed in micropayments and without advertising. Perhaps, it is very attractive. I do not like obsessive advertising, watch TV, work on the Internet, you go in transport - everywhere advertising. I hate it.

You are so right!!  Another point is that YouTube is not actually free. When you're on YT you pay for it with time spent watching ads. Advertisers call the shots while your favorite Creators get demonetized for not being ad-friendly and can no longer make videos you enjoy. This is the problem with 'free'.
