Since your  post there were already a couple of ups and downs between 7700$ and 8100$. Bitcoin is still volatile, the bears are still powerful, but the overall sentiment is pretty good and I expect to see a healthy rise soon.
If you take a closer look only on this forum, the number of doomsday threads are less and less every week. It's a good mean of measure this :)

Yes this is really a good sign after the long slumping early this year. For those speculators that were very negative saying bitcoin is dying. Now look?

will people stop zooming in to the 3 hour chart and reacting at every 5%-10% movement by commenting on this forum.

unless there is a 40%+ movement in price. stop getting emotional
5-10% is natural and normal movements that happen daily. so chill out

I think now serious players push out weak hands! I'm sure that before the summer the price of bitcoin should surprise us even more! correction and low price is normal! now clearing the path for take-off! patience is the main rule in the crypto market!

that's right bitcoin will grow higher in future according to so many prediction bitcoin will cross 100000$ at the end of 2018. my expectation also like that. we should dont worry about the  price up and down it is the volatility.in the first six months of years bitcoin are volatile in low  price and the last six months of year bitcoin volatile in high price  bitcoin have high volatility that's why every one demand for bitcoin and also trade in bitcoin.

Bitcoin price is sure to pump back,it is a norm in the trading market, after bull then a bear and the cycle continue,we sure to experience a bull soon.

Bitcoin seems to be stabilizing between $7700 and $ 8500 already for a while now. As long as authorities spread FUD about Bitcoin not being a currency, that it's bubble or a scam, that ICO's are scams and so on, investors will stay away from cryptocurrencies. Also negative news like Twitter, Facebook and Google will ban crypto related ads, doesn't do any good. But this will pass eventually and the price will start increasing again.

The drop wasn't all that low. It kept fluctuating. I think lowest was maybe a bit under 7.000$. Which is not that bad. But you can see it's revolving around 8.000$.
Now everyone knows it was never steady. It always goes up and down. That's what makes investing and turning a profit possible.

Yes, price is back and it is really great for us users for them to not always looking for the chart and zooming it and react every second why it drops thar big. Bitcoin is such great and useful to everyone thats why many people are disappointed about its price but it is great for them to learn on how to be strong facing any obstacles and for them to gave patoence on anything. Just keep believing.

I hope for that but I don't think we will see another bull market until 2019. Every next bull and bear run is longer from the last one and bear length is a half of bull market. We have almost 3 years of the bull market that suggests this bear will last for 1,5 year because sooner bull market was for 2 years and bear one. Which will be at the beginning of 2019. This is my prediction and I am 60% sure of that. The second scenario, I am 40% convinced that we will see the third leg up and one more price spike until June 2018. Nobody knows for sure. I think both scenarios are correct and possible.

I can’t really say much ... it is Bitcoin, it is volatile (as I am typing this, it is already under 8K again). I actually don’t think it was such a massive dip. I am sure it will recover later in the year, but maybe this won’t be a bull run year like last (of course if it is I will be equally happy).

All i have to say Is that we shouldn't rejoice cause probably some people somewhere is buying some bitcoins. And if some people sell, the price is just unstable. So its not a new thing if it only tops a $1000. We are expecting something bigger; like probably a price of 25k-30k. Though its likely this price will come but we don't when. Just hold the coins and don't be greedy to sell off when it tops a thousand or two cause it will end up boucing back at us.

Yea, it keeps fluctuating around that price so I'm not that worried at all. As what has @franky1 has mentioned, this kind of increased is just normal. So I'm not surprised at all. Maybe when we see a jump of around $1K or above then I would be jumping for excitement. But it seems that today movement will not go that high so we need to wait it out and hope that something positive happen in April.

Correct, there really isnt anything to get excited about at the moment

It will be back soon whales are manipulated this market fall down. Im sure everyone would be happy soon. As long as it reach 12,000usd then the bull is getting started.

I am glad bitcoin price was able to hold on within the 8K range after the announcement made by twitter to ban all crypto-currency adverts.The media has really not been helpful in the last couple of weeks.I believe bitcoin price will recover in the next month

People scare of falling prices and panic too much but actually bitcoin is pretty strong now, it even has not decreased to $6000 again despite lots of banning news and fuds.

Sooner or later the price of bitcoin should be restored vseravno. Now, in principle, there is already a good situation when the Crypto currency has stopped attacking with various false and not false negative news information, bitcoin has practically recovered in its functionality and this creates good prerequisites for its growth. I hope that this will happen in the near future.

I can not say as getting up, because in technical field still in low zone support area which could be breaking down time, i still assume btc will come back down $ 5600- $ 6000 from there it will be seen btc going back up or down again, but according me for the above price.

Because the wave will go to the potential area to return to the trend afterwards. so in the meantime I am for me personally more likely to wait n see firstly wait really confirmed whether it will go down further or will pullback

at this time its price is around 8k $, I think its big drop was an excellent opportunity to buy bitcoin cheap but I think that is still giving the opportunity to enter the market because it is estimated a big rise at the end of the year.

BTC price is 7.5k at the moment and it seem so go down more. Better buy cheap and wait for the 11k level to sell again. 20k expectation seems unrealistic right now.

just like a rally where price doesn't constantly rise, during a downtrend price does not constantly drop either. there are times when the trend is reversed and that lasts for a short time. it is the "corrections" that the market has to correct a fast trend.

one of these times however, price will drop too big and reaches a very low bottom and then reverse upwards and never come back again. that is the "bottom" where you have to buy in. it is a little hard to predict it though.
