who will live up to the hype?

Both are already hyped :D and will prob be hyped more. Although I wouldn't suggest investing a lot in these, just my opinion.

both are very different and interesting, none of them I will leave and both have entered in my portfolio.

Now in a bear market, investing too much hype is not a good choice.
So I'm not suggesting that you invest in these two tokens, maybe investing in BTC is a better choice?

I cannot trust them both because they were pumped really fast. I do not know for what they are used or did not read their whitepapers but I am always afraid of these type of 'instantly popular' coins.

Verge (XVG) is now on a very large pamp, but I think it will not lasts  long,  but in the long term, I'm sure that the Tron will show itself better...

Both projects have a lot of events in the near future.
I think that on both projects we will see a good growth.

both coins are in good condition, trx is up 12% and xvg is up 16%, whereas market condition is now experiencing blood bath again, where btc and eth have decreased significantly, it seems people have started to no longer interested in btc and eth

As of this moment, I believe XLM is the most promising of the 3 based on their respective development. So far, XVG seems to be mostly hype although there are many who believe in its potential. Now in regards to your question about their potential ..

both are good but don't invest on long term on this coins, invest now and have update this month end on TRX so have chances high the price hence invest now and sell once increase the price 

Both TRX and XVG are hyped, pumped and manipulations still continue. I think both of them have not much future, good for just short time investments.

TRX sounds more fishy for me. It doesn't stand out technichally and is extremely overpriced.

all this coins have already hyped. And now they have very cheap prices. Nooone knows what coins trx or verge can rally again. I think it would be better take both coins. But now its very dangerous to take coins because we dont know the full market situation

I think what i have understood and analysed is that trx is better hype wise at the moment, recent movements also support this argument and i think it has big potential in coming months, while xvg is undergoing long bear trend.

I think that among this two rivals the Tron is  leading, because it is more stable and promising for long-term investment. I would better choose it.

XVG teщe not Prameny such as TRX,although at the present time,do not know what will protamina,I would razdelil in the ratio of 70 to trx and 30 xvg.I think this approach is more correct.

I hold a nice bag of both coins. More bullish on TRX over XVG.

Both coins will survive. I like Verge. As for me this coin has a great future, because anonymous coins will be in high demand soon. This coin is excellent for long-term investments. TRX is a commercial project and I buy this coin from time to time for daily trades.

I would have chosen the XVG because it is a very promising project and it is now much underestimated

Both of them are really good. Instead of choosing one but I saw XVG when go dipped around 30 sats below when XVG go below that price again I'll buy a bag of it. TRX was really good very active team and good projects sad to say a lot FUD coming of it because there are too many FOMOs that bought on top and eaten by whales.

Yes that's because I was that type of person before that bought during those times that they are making some noise but after buying in and others surely did in. The whales did took advantage to take profits during those times. I don't have anything to say with these coins anymore.

From these two coins, I am absolutely confident in the TRON, because it is promising and has already shown itself well.

I think that now it is worth taking both of these coins. Because these are good projects, but they are quite different, and I personally believe more in the success of Verge

I would also avoid both of there as stated by people before me. Both projects are still way overhyped and overpriced even after the significant drop of the price. Instead I would look at the promising infrastructure projects like AION and Icon which are much safer investment mid/long term.

trx is listed in more places. i bet on trx.

Yeah, agreed that both were hyped so hard. TRX might somehow live up to the hype. I do not think will though so stay away. Just my opinion also  ;D

The fight of this two projects has been going on for some time now. I noticed it very much during the december/january period when xvg was been hyped over the launch of its wraith protocol. This however failed to deliver on the time which was the new year which led to jesting by the trx community and a decline in price
BOth of the projects are good. Just better to hold both of them.

I prefer TRX, because XVG in my opinion have no more hope to be invested, because the price is difficult to increase.

I'll split if i can invest in both but with higher allocation on XVG, trx on the other hand seems a bit overpriced already and it pump so many times before so i think it might reach its full price potential soon while XVG for me is good for long term. TRX for short term trade while long term on XVG but both alts are definitely good.

Not sure what pump everyone is referring to as far as Verge.  Let's just say, the coin did not live up to the hype...but still not a terrible coin.  As for the other coin, I have seen more momentum.

At this point in time, it would be easy to choose the better coin.  

Trx is not bad at all but its recent collapse give good shock to many investors but still I believe this coin has good potential to grow again because its a commercial project and its price soon going to be hit on good rise again on other hand xvg is also not bad at all as its good project with long term investment not bad all if some one want to invest for good profit then surely he can invest in these both coins for good profit in long term basis

Both altcoins are my favorites. Are you investing on those two? Are you a day trader, swing trader or just HODL those for long term? If you created this thread to give you an idea which alts to choose, I would suggest invest on those two since they really looks promising. Besides, you have to keep in mind that always not put your eggs in one basket to maximize your profit or lessen your losses.

Since I lost a good amount of money, I dont invest on ICO anymore. I instead wait for the coin to be available in the exchange. I notice that once a coin introduced in an exchange, the price and value of the coin decrease.  The price during ICO will eventually be lower, but I don't encouraged that kind of mindset, that might not apply to yours.

For me,  I would have rather have invested either btc or eth since the price movement can easily move either up and down but definitely these coins are known to be more profitable than the other coins for now. So,  sacrifice in waiting for the bullish run as this is just  the adjustment period in this current  bearish drop.

I find it difficult to choose, because on the one hand a young and promising Verge coin and with another reliable, though less volatile, TRON coin ..

Both projects have a lot of hype around them. However I am more bullish on TRON  :)

Verge is a new coin that shows enough growth. I would choose it from the new coins. I think It’s possible to make good profit.

I own both. For a short term gain are both good:
TRX will launch the testnet and the later the mainet.
XVG will made a big announcement about the partnership in April 16.

I am a strong supporter of privacy so I prefer Verge.

Hmm, I quite agree with you. Last time I log on to Bittrex, TRON (TRX) always get a pump. Tron development progress is very fast.
They also quite aggressive to get listing on new exchanges. I hope TRX team does not try to scam their investors on other days.

im more into TRX instead of vrg. i believe in justin sun that he would able to make tron became more great and tron project will be so much usefull. Tronx project is indeed more great and more good than bitcoin and ethereum.

honestly i have some xvg in my holdings and im very sure that this coin have a great potetial in this market, on the other side trx is another great project, sadly i dont have any money to invest in trx, but if i have some money il also buy this coin because of good platform and i know that it has a good potential coin  this year.

both are good, but personally i believe with XVG
because i believe privacy is the most important in crypto and XVG focused on privacy  ;)

Why you choose from the 2 options ? Take both and you will not loose definetly, and take the others, the market is down now, everything is cool to buy

I would recommend you to put 60% on XVG and 40% on TRX. Both are risky

It seems to me that the Tron is a worthy coin, which is quite volatile and has a potencial. I would choose trx.

Trx downed so hard. It will find a valuable time in order for it to go up again. This coin almost lost its morale. I hope that this coin might shine again just like it did the last time.

Look at Verge today guys. I am all in for 2 weeks and will sell all my coins at 16 or 17 April after the partnership announcement.
