it's true today I saw and heard some news about youtube channels and blogs that are blocked by youtube and google because the content in their videos and articles contains elements of crypto currency, and reportedly many will take the legal path for the incident

this is clearly a very bad situation. altcoin continues to fall, and media coverage is also getting worse. I'm afraid this will have a bad impact on boutny campaign. when fecbook, twitter, blog, and google start blocking ico ads, it is not impossible bounty campaign will also stop.

I think if the popular internet resources begin to actively ban users advertising cryptocurrency, crypto community will have to find other, more loyal resources to promotion. The Crypto currency will not disappear anywhere. However, for some time it will be remote from people outside the market. It seems now to be the goal, to limit the involvement of new people in the cryptoworld

I think their popularization will diminish and price too. ICO's which haven't big community must die without internet promotion.

You are all talking about Facebook, Twitter and Google (YouTube) blocking any channels and/or profiles "promoting" ICOs and anything crypto related. As far as I'm informed, they will only block paid ads, not posts/tweets/videos from users which are not paid. Where did you hear they are blocking that too? They can't block that, we can tweet and post whatever we want, otherwise it is a discrimination and it should be investigated and taken to courts through legal paths.

slowly slowly we are coming to know that all these so called big companies are in hands of powerful people ..
those people who want to kill cryptocurrency are doing it via proxy .
thats why decentralization is must ,
how you can ban anything which is not harming anyone or not breaking any ethics .
all of these people just want us to see what they want , want us to invest in what they want ..
for them dollar is more valuable than a fixed supply asset .

Google has bought youtube, and owner blogger at the same time google is also having some shares in the twitter company. I remember google company have bought some shares from the twitter but google inc was not interested in buying all of the shares from the twitter company. Considering the fact and that'd not be surprised if all of the things that owned by google are starting to ban the crypto advertisement.
But we will stand with our foot soon.

It is sad that the whole world is turning its back on Crypto. Probably during this time Altcoin prices continue to fall sharply. I think the whole of the Crypto market will be in a red color. Is this a sign that the market crash Crypto. They can not accept society. They will not be accepted by governments. At the moment we can not say anything about the Crypto market.

I'm sorry, I meant in general for all social media. And maybe I exaggerated with taking this to the court and all, haha. Well, maybe some ICO companies probably will, who knows. Hm, yes I don't know, maybe there were some paid ads rolling out during his video and they blocked his account based on that. Not sure if they can do that, but you never know. There was nothing said officially that they would be blocking accounts based on sharing crypto related tags. For example, if I tweet about ICO project with #ICO hashtag, twitter will disable my account. Could be possible, but highly unlikely in my opinion. At least at the moment. It is however possible that they are doing it to some users unofficially and that users didn't come out yet. Maybe they will soon and we will know more about this matter for sure.

Just let that sink, there's plenty of already funded ICO that trying to compete against google and it's such a good thing. I don't know why it seems that people are relying too much on Youtube and other google companies aswell but let me make it clear.
There's so many video sharing site, and also another advertising platform. We can just all those services that come from our comunity and everything will be fine. Also it seems that by the blocking which done by youtube, marketing promotion through this forum is the most effective way.

I think google prohibits ICO because currently google can't filter of ICO. Google doesn't want to blame later on because they let ICO, tokensale, and Altcoin that lead to fraud (scam project), because more scam project popping cause the level of trust in google will decrease if they keep it
for future of altcoin is very difficult to predict now, we can only hope the crypto developers can find a solution and situation will return to normal

If big companies like youtube and google blocked crypto-related materials, there is a great chance that  the price of Coins will keep on dropping and dropping. And it would be really hard for everyone of us to keep the price up , once social media advertisements are blocked.

This will not stop icos from advertising. Icos would have to be careful and truthful to their program and not be deceitful in whitepaper. In situations like this, the very best will shine and be recognized in the world of icos. Advertising might not be in these known social networks but telegrams, altcoin forums etc.

Another reason to pissed off at BitConnect... it was fun to laugh at them for a while, but now they are probably a big part of why this is happening.  Many of those people who lost money are blaming the bloggers and youtubers instead of taking responsibility for themselves.

That may be one of the reasons why the market is down too, less advertisements because of the banning of ICO related ads throughout the Social Media. I’m not sure how they are able to promote their ICO’s anymore and for sure it will have a very big impact to the market too.

Maybe this is the main reason on why Bitcoin price was stock up between $8,000 to $11,000 that it wont accelerate to reach $12,000 that maybe many investors and holders are now afraid of what will be the impact if the advertising of Crypto currencies and ICO will be limited. How much more if the Twitter will join the group? i think it will create serious additional problem with the ICO especially the scam projects.

On one hand google is trying to ban ICOs ads in the name of fraud prevenetion (which is actually nt enough ) on the other hand there is news of google trying to build a blockchain based product. Hope this is not a concerted effort to drive the competitors out of market.

As for fraud revention, we surely need a decntralized authority for taking down such fraud projects. There are many off late and often investors are stuck with them . Hope credibility and sanity shall return soon.

Serious pressure? Are you kidding? Bitcoin has faced serious pressure from world governments and has always come out on top. Do you really think social media companies like Facebook, Google etc will stop the crypto market and Bitcoin from advancing? The current bear market is applying pressure on investors causing them to spread baseless FUD which is something that I do not appreciate. I tend to ignore such FUD and simply enjoy my time HODLING all my coins until the next big rally starts which might happen in the near future. Don't fall for the FUD.

I am thinking of closing my Facebook account in protest but I can't shut myself off of Youtube as well as that would limit my work possibilities. I hope us bounty peeps channel's don't get shut down as well, that would be so bad if we are banned from posting ICO videos. I think this is so stupid. The truth remains that social media sites blocking ICO adverts should be a welcome development, at least for now until the mess inherent in ICOs are cleansed. However, we should start getting worried once Telegram and the BTT join the ban bandwagon.  I have never come across any ICO on Twitter (don't even own an account), YouTube or even Google. All ICOs that I participated in have come through Telegram and this forum. I guess this is same for some here too.

It's not a good sign for altcoin. I think with time they will realize that not all icos are scam and there will be certain conditions icos must meet before its ads can be played on their platform.
The ban is a two edge sword. As it affects the crypto industry, it also reduces traffic and capital flow to the banning sites. Already we see Facebook and Google revenues going down. They are also casualties as much as the altcoins.

Youtube and blogger have personal and business opinion about ICO ads and unfortunately we can't do nothing about that, their home their rules. I believe ICO developer will find another way to keep their ICO ads running, maybe this moment they start to search another platform to replace their ICO ads with block. As bounty hunter we only need to wait and see what happen. Just keep create valuable content and follow the rules and we get pay, simple like that.

News that spreads the panic around ICO projects provide an opportunity to see how vulnerable the world of crypto currency. Perhaps it's time to really switch to independent cryptotechnology, where the government not can put a strict ban. I think that the flexible world of crypto currency will find a way out of this situation and go further, beyond social networks.

There are other venues where icos and crypto can use for advertisement. It will affect ICO and its progress but I do not think that it will cripple it. Facebook, twitter, youtube, google can ban crypto advertisement but it will still survive.

Unfortunately it will affect the very bad side. The main popularization of the crypt and the new ICO was conducted through advertising on these resources. How will they raise funds now?

Yes, this is a very negative trend. Almost all large internet resources began to block the advertising of the crypt. Probably they want to isolate the market and run their own projects...

a subsidiary of google.com. namely youtube.com and blogger.com have started blocking videos and articles that contain elements of ICO, tokensale, and Altcoin. then how is your prediction for the future of altcoin?
if it continues in the block and no more tolerance, it is not possible altcoin will increasingly disappear. because of bounty campaign, mostly from social media like youtube, blog, and also facebook. if all that is blocked, bounty campaign will be difficult and it will make altcoin is in a difficult situation because etherum is the platform of most bounty.

So what are you using these advertisement to promote an ICO? no,because only those ICOs will be affected by this not the bounty hunters! The only way that these people are getting investors are thru bitcointalk hunters because there are no one who will see ads from google facebook and twitter not with the help the bounty hunters.
