Title: NEO mathematical query
Post by: TUMAS on March 27, 2018, 02:32:37 PM
Need your mathematical logic here:

Bought 2.5 ETH @ $1200
I did a money order to buy NEO with all my ETH and it resulted to 23 NEO @ $50

Now Eth is down to $1000 and I did a new money order and it came to 21 NEO $ 50

What is the best way to go about the above? Wait for Eth to go up (but in result NEO goes up) or keep eth low and buy low?  I am trading in NEO/ETH

to get average buy price do for example:
(23*50)+(21*50)/(23+21)

Eth has 2th place on coinmarket, neo has 9. Neo blockchain started invite new ICOs in few time ago. I think neo has much more potential to grow.

I think the problem here is you are looking at your purchase transaction from the angle of the dollar value of Ethereum. See it as you are purchasing Neo with Ethereum and ignore the dollar value!

Care to explain how to do so?

Captain abvious here, best case scenario is for eth to go up realative to neo. Problem is they will most likely correlate pretty close to each other in the short term. Nothing you can do about that.
