Title: Monero LESS UNTRACEABLE THAN IT SEEMS
Post by: vlom on March 27, 2018, 09:17:41 PM
A really interesting text was published on wired.com.

https://www.wired.com/story/monero-privacy/

the most import parts are in my opinion:
1.
that security problems that are discovered can be fixed. but that all the transactions that have been made before the change wont be altered. thats why the change in the monero code last year does not help to solve the problems of the past.
2. the quotes of Riccardo Spagni just because i like to read what devs think and how they react.

and please. dont talk about instamine or dash.

Interesting read indeed, thanks for sharing.
3rd party reviews in this area are usually scarce, so a documented paper is wow.
And the results will help Monero evolve even more.

It may lead to some speculation on the price, which was falling for some time along with Bitcoin...
On a happier not Monero was getting close to a new scheduled fork and maybe the easier-to-implement fixes will already come live in ~9 days.
