Title: Captcha Error Message Post by: botany on March 28, 2018, 05:35:08 AM Has anybody else got this message while trying to login?
ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key The captcha is not visible and instead this error message is displayed. Edit Apologies. Was on a mirror site while trying to dig out posts which have been deleted by an user. This might actually turn out to be way to stop phisihing! Title: Re: Captcha Error Message Post by: TheBeardedBaby on March 28, 2018, 05:48:57 AM I got the same issue.
I accidentally logged out on my mobile and when I tried to login back got this error: https://imgur.com/gallery/ju4If Strange that I had many tabs openon my browser so I logged out only on one tab,on the others I'm still logged in. Title: Re: Captcha Error Message Post by: mprep on March 28, 2018, 07:48:37 AM That's because both of you logged into a mirror website (which could be phishing login details) rather than Bitcointalk.
Change your passwords right now - if the mirror website records login attempts, your account is already compromised. Check whether your account's email is still the same as well. Title: Re: Captcha Error Message Post by: TheBeardedBaby on March 28, 2018, 08:05:27 AM OMFG, really. Now I saw it, bitcointalk.to! I never enter any login info. The weirdest thing was that this new tab pop-up just after I accidentally push something on the original forum, I thought that I clicked on log out button, but it's not the case. I don't know how it happen.
Title: Re: Captcha Error Message Post by: Cobalt9317 on March 28, 2018, 12:02:10 PM We all know that mistyping in a url bar is not uncommon.
Even twitter social platform have a mirror webpage that runs a monero javascript in the background and day by day the user of this community is increasing thus an exploitation does not leave us. But a veteran member can always tell if the url is secure or not by the glance on it. |
