Title: Account almost got hacked Post by: 5thFear on March 28, 2018, 06:02:10 AM I almost lost my bitcointalk account as i got hacked. but luckily i found things in time and changed my password.
But i want to know is there something else like two step authentication for the account ? what happened is that Somehow, somebody changed the email address in this account.. i received an email on my account which is " Dear 5thFear, Your Bitcoin Forum (bitcointalk.org) password was just changed by IP address 116.0.53.10. If you did not do this, then you should use the forgotten password feature to change your password. Regards, The Bitcoin Forum Team. " I have changed the email back to original and i have changed my password, but i would like to know if there is 2-step authentication available and that is there anybody else who suffered from this kind of situation ?
