Title: My Alt's are dropping!
Post by: Daddyj2 on March 28, 2018, 11:18:53 AM
I have read so many topics here about

*My alt's are dropping!
*Red market what to do?
*I'm losing money!
*Panic sell?
*Can this coin still recover?
*When do crypto recover?
and many more a like...

I have no hate to this topics but people need to understand that cryptocurrency is so unpredictable and you need to prepare yourself to lose money in here and you need to keep calm in times like this. I know for sure that crypto will recover, but when is that is the question! If you still have money outside to spend then don't cash out it's still not a lose until you sell on a red market.  ;)

I cannot agree more. This crypto market isn't like Win-Win market where everyone keeps making money. Basically some people make money, some lose so its balance in this nature. Future is still unclear with altcoins so.

This time I don't think somebody is getting higher earnings because everything is dropping starting Bitcoin to ethereum to Ripple and every altcoin's in the crypto market today.
so Yes, I think the crypto market will recover soon, and when it happens, I really do get higher earnings like every holders today.
hold your altcoins and earn high profits in the future.

I think those people who are selling their Bitcoin and altcoins are already getting enough return of investments because those people who bought Bitcoin last year when Bitcoin price valued as low as $1,000 then they still getting higher profits today so I think they just want to enjoy their profits and will soon invest again if they want.
now, people who believe on crypto market will still choose to hold because it's the best option we can do to save our crypto assets.

That is true because when you enter this cryptocurrecy it means you know what you doing. You know that you can lose or you can win in this crypto world.  I think people need to prepare their self when they enter this crypto world and bring more patients too because is not what we doing yeah we invest but you need to know that patients is the here you cannot get a money immediately.

Selling is not always panic selling. There is moment in which you simply have to protect your assets and sometimes that means being fuly liquid instead of fully invested.
If the price could go much higher than the price that you are looking at right now and you sell it then it would be considered a panic sell.

I Agree, people just need to understand if you do not see the prospects of the project, only sell it, but if you understand that this asset can cost much more than that, of course, sell it will now be full of nonsense

yes, mate! correctly said: until you hold and don't sell - you don't lose. I don't care if the market is red, i invested just free funds. So i'm ready to wait for 1-2 years, because the cryptomarket is so unpredictable now, better decision is wait for better times.

There also have people who buy bitcoin at the price $15k+ at the end of last year.
Someone needs fiat money for life, and they must sell his coin even if price not very well

Maybe those people jump into crypto for hope 100% profits. There is no such thing a win-win investment. There is always a probability of losing.
In investment knowledge is important. You need to study first before you invest.

still HODL your alt, keep your coin, price will definitely go up. why this happened? because BTC is still in a downtrend. there comes a time when altcoin markets are back to life. :)

Exactly, I like your opinion, you only loose when you sell during the red market. We have got to keep holding. There is so much hope Igor Cryptocurrency. People have already declared 2018 as a bad year for cryptos but we are just entering the second quarter. There is still a chance for evething to be corrected

I think you should not be so worried about the price of the atlcoin. Since I have often seen the Crypto market rise and fall. And then they rise and fall. That is the principle of the market Crypto is unpredictable. So having your patience hold your coins is the key to success for you.

Before anything major happens to crypto, I have a strong feeling that we will see previous high again. Unfortunately, last year saw many new investors and they ran very quickly since they did not know how crypto world works. So the bleeding continues.

I completely agree with you op. Just finished replying to a thread where op was talking about the sky falling which is hilarious. So many people spread meaningless FUD like this here and there without grasping the fact that such FUD could actually do more damage. Such people need to think hard before making such statements. The problem here is that many newbie investors felt that they could become millionaires overnight by taking advantage of the volatility of the market which shows how naive they were. Crypto market is like a lottery where you stand to win or lose huge or small sums of money based on various factors.

Of course not, they just want to spread FUD.

Buy some more at a lower price. And then a little more at an even lower price. And you get a good average price and then you can make a profit.

If you trust your alts then hold it but if you don't know why you bought it its better that you will sell it right away to avoid losing too much.

But if you know how market works then you should hold it as the market will surely recover in the following months. Goodluck.

Usually, red days in crypto market forces a lot of individual to hold their coins. But sometimes, we are risking our coins. Holding of coins is the safest way to do during a crash. Just keep calm, bear market is just right now!

Ya, almost all cryptocurrency are dropping but now is the time to BUY! BUY! BUY! Whoever that is panicking because of of the dropping Altcoins should really stop investing in cryptocurrency. I mean, what happened with bitcoin should be a lesson to all of use. Most people rushed and sell of when bitcoin was stuck in a lower price. Who would think it will cross more that a $1k. So to prevent loss, hold your potential coins!

You probably missed some topics like bitcoin is dead, bubble and a lot more, that is the common reaction of some people during the bear market season, corrections, and stuff don't know why they repeat the same thread over and over again during the decline, that is totally normal in the crypto market, instances that the price decreases by 50% in one night are the very history of bitcoin and other coins, probably these people are newbies on this field or some weak handed persons over and all expect some thread like I missed the boat when the price starts to moon again.

Most newbies only thinks about their gains and forgets how much the market changes so fast within a day. They all tend to sell thinking that the price will drop continuously. One of the basic traits that someone must possess in this field is TRUST. They must learn how to know if a crypto is a fail or if it can still recover. Panic selling won't help the market

It is not totally unpredictable tho. You need to do some research and study how the market works. You might get the feeling as to when will you take profit and when will ypu need to pull out and wait for the red market to go away.

Let's just wait for a while and observe what's up with the market. The time will come and the opportunity will present itself and that would be our time to take profit.

I think the market has reached its bottom. For me, the signal to this is the price of eth. At its lowest point, the price of EUR/BTC was 0.054. Then the price changed to 0.056-0.058. Fluctuations in the price of bitcoin no longer affect this ratio. This means that the fall of bitcoin will stop. Otherwise, the capital will begin to flow from btc to eth. It is not included in the plans of the whales.

That topics you mentioned above such (*red market what to do ?, *I'm losing money!, *My alt's are dropping!) is not totally a topic that need some advice or predictions from expert cause the purpose of that post is to intimidate some holder to create a panic selling which is made by some Fud's to manipulate the price in the market in easy way .

I agree. The first rule in the cryptocurrency world is: not to invest more than you are willing to lose.
I'm a newbie too but I'm not crying every time market falls down.
I think most of these people who complain have invested totally randomly. If you study a project and you see the potentials then you have nothing to worry about.

That's a very good advice. We almost need to train ourselves for a hard-headed spirit that can confront the red storms that the crypto market brings us.
Most of the losers are because they do not trust the cryptocurrency and when the market goes down, their psychology is always panic and do not control themselves. so we need to have a good spirit in order to assess the market.

Enjoying the show,

The whimpering of the starving investors (and their starving families) that were throwing money

Many are warning of the high risk of investing in digital currency (cryptocurrency). Although rumored to promise high profits, I want to say that risk is something that should not be taken lightly. It is something that should not be regretted if there were people who wanted to know more about crypto.

Now the cryptocurrency market is very unpredictable. He showed everyone once again that investing in crypto is very risky. But if you have already purchased crypto, now do not panic and sell all the coins cheaply. You need to be patient and wait for the best moment. And this moment is sure to appear, i am convinced of it.

Same here, I already lose a lot of money but the only loss will occur when you actually exchange it for fiat equivalent. The cryptocurrency market is unpredictable and crazy. But understand that some of the blockchain applications are still in their infancy. Some are not even released their actual product or platform. That's one reason for wild swings because it's being valued speculatively.

If you still have money outside to spend then don't cash out it's still not a lose until you sell on a red market.  ;)

100% agree on this. People are complaining about the current market and yet during a good market they are not selling their coin. You should understand that crypro is volatile and difficult to speculate and you are aware that sometime soon this will happen. If you have money outside of crypto you shouldn't worry because there is no need for you to sell during this kind of market.

Well, that's exactly what the crypto currency market is. So when you're in, you're ready for what's going to happen. In this market the prices are varied and this occurs only in a single moment. Therefore we must be patient and be persistent believe in yourself

My altcoin portfolio is going down too. I’ve already lost more than 50% since January and I think that it isn’t the end. We should wait while market is bleeding. Also it is great opportunity to buy cheap tokens (if you have free money) and see which projects have real value.

P.S: People are in panic, they are worry about their money. But everybody knows that cryptocurrencies are related with high risks and volatility.

I agree with you they should know that cryptocurrency are unpredictable price they can go down anytime and they should ready to lose, crypto are like gambling you could win and you could lose. The only winners are those who hold patiently.

I cannot agree more. This crypto market isn't like Win-Win market where everyone keeps making money. Basically some people make money, some lose so its balance in this nature. Future is still unclear with altcoins so.

+1
In any game, if there's a winner, there always a looser.
With these cryptocurrency, every earners come with some loser.
some may gain but some may not.
If you really want to be successful on this and earn a lot you need to learn patience and keep waiting for the right timing.

One good thing about cryptocurrency is that you don't lose unless you sell . Just keep holding even if it is for the next three years, you would be glad you did.

I sometimes wonder where people get the idea that Crypto is not risky . Even investors know that every business is a risk and they are always prepared to win or lose so it is not different in the crypto market which is why it is best to do your research and invest what you are comfortable losing .

Totally agree. Crypto is not an easy bucks. Doing research and learning the market is a must. Joining the hype will only cost you a fortune. Better be ready for what will happen. Only thing for sure is that market will recover soon.

I also think the same. When we started  one of the most heard advices was invest what you afford to lose.So we can again see bright days or we can just loose all we have. I'm still optimistic as I think we will recover but who knows

People ask such questions because they don't believe in crypto. It seems to them that the bubble has been crashed. There won't be so much players after that fall for sure.
