Title: A sad day in my life.
Post by: demonmaestro on October 30, 2013, 10:05:13 AM
When you get a email notice that all your miners went down and there aint anything you can do about it for a couple of hours. Sitting there wondering if your internet went out or if your router took a crap.  :'(

You will get used to it, for me it went down quite often and when I go home and check, its usually internet connection and electricity issues..

Mine is almost always electricity although last night the primary vid card in one of my scrypt rigs fan locked up and it locked the system.  As many state it is a good exercise in business continuity and disaster recovery planning but 24/7 uptime is not possible over an extended period.

That's unfortunate. Mine has 2 different internet connections at the same time, so if 1 ISP fails, there is always a second one to back it up :)

Wow, you must have a lot of mining equipment for you to spend money on double ISP...
