#0, 1, 3 Still too hot for my liking! Point a window fan at your rig! Title: Re: too hot? Post by: cicada on July 26, 2011, 08:18:15 PM Adapter 2 - ATI Radeon HD 5900 Series Sensor 0: Temperature - 100.00 C Too hot. The rest are OK in my opinion, but 100C sustained temps are not so great. Mine all range in the high 70 - low 80C range and I'm comfortable with that. Consider that most cards will thermal throttle at ~110C, and you can see how that might be a little too warm. Title: Re: too hot? Post by: bmgjet on July 27, 2011, 02:34:19 AM High 70Cs are the most id have on a card mining since as heat goes up its going to use more power and have a shorter life.
100C is way to much get it down and youll see the Mhash go up since it wont be slowing its self to prevent damage. |
