Post by: JakeGold on October 30, 2013, 08:15:42 PM
If you needed to store a small amount of data for as long as possible, is there a particular method or medium you should use?

i.e:

Magnetic (HDD/Tape)
Optical (CD/DVD/BR)
Flash (SD/Falsh Drive)

Paper (printing)
Etching (electrolysis)

Every format you can get your hands on, your best bet is to diversify as much as possible and up the chance that one of the current mediums you use will make it easy for you to transfer the data to a new one later.
