Post by: danskgraes on March 29, 2018, 08:52:01 AM
Hi,

I've read some things about this exchange..
Is it good or not? Can someone advice seriously without whining, please?

Thanks a lot.

Stay away from this bogus exchange. There are a lot of shit postings about this going around in the service discussion section and I can't justify it enough. The last time I used it was to exchange some ICO tokens which were only available there and to my surprise they charge you for depositing a coin. Unbelievable! And to make it worse the deposit charge was $40 for that token. I had 100 tokens and they were around $1. And I was only left with $60 to exchange it for BTC. What a shitplace! I guess a bunch of pre mature kids are running this.

For better response you need to move this thread Service Discussion Exchanges section as @Legion13 suggested better stay away from this shit exchange I also stuck with this and few coins taking too much time for confirming by mistake I have one bitcoin withdrawal its not arrived in 7 days right now its one of worst exchanges in cryptocurrency community

In earlier days, I used it for the first time when I sent my BTC there and purchased TRX (Tron) as it was being hyped by too many people.
I made BTC0.05 out of BTC0.009 as the value of the coin rose exceptionally. It was being said that the exchange is keeping the prices higher for each coin listed there compared to other exchanges (which looked something really serious to worry about). But then, somehow I managed to get my withdrawal processed and it took more than 3 days for them to send me the funds (that too with the least fee and it was the period when fees were higher - you must be remembering those $10 per transaction days). My advice would be to stay away from this and trade on better exchanges such as bittrex, binance, poloniex, etc. which possess a good reputation and won't harm your capital (either by manipulation or by scamming their users by running away with their funds). And as BitcoinMarshal said, please move this to Service Discussion board to get much better experiences heard on this.

I started using HitBTC a while ago, I did not make any withdraw yet, but the interface design is very nice, and every time you log in, you do not need a password. It is wonderful

I would recommend you withdraw your coins as soon as you are done exchanging as my withdrawal experience with them has been nothing short of terrible. They offer some lesser known coins which is why I used them but my withdraw took over 2 weeks to process. Support is essentially non-existent and I would try to avoid them unless you have no other choice (eitherdelta and coinexchange often offer similar coins).

Of course this is just my experience with HitBTC and yours may be different. I don't think they are scammers as I eventually got my withdrawal but they are definitely incompetent at solving even trivial issues.
