Hi,

This are preliminary renders for a rackable 1.5MH/s Litecoin mining unit based on boards we will ship at 20 November.

BTW my numbers above are estimates based on what they already sell, nothing else.

You will start shipping in 20 days and all you got up to now is preliminary renders!?

I think the price is on the high side. Although graphic cards cost more, they can be sold later at decent price. These cards can only be used in mining.

I believe that they are FPGA's and although the market isn't as large, they at least are not ASIC's with only one function.

More vaporware, as expected. No doubt the price will double and power consumption will increase by ship time.

Around 235W at wall with 80% efficiency PSU for 1MH/s and as much as 585W at wall with current overclocked firmware at max speed.
I never claimed it will be ready on 20 November, the standalone boards will be ready, the 1M5 unit may or may not be ready at that time, that's why I underlined it is "preliminary".

Price is a bit steep at the moment. Waiting for some guys to develop a more even cheaper alternative.

What a surprise, crypto-related hardware date estimations that aren't precise? This is unprecedented.

Will we see a similar render of his 350 MH/s unit??

Quote from: ltcgear.com
Deadline to request share conversion to physical boards is July 15.
Each ASIC unit is roughly equivalent of 350Mhs.
