Title: Downclocking memory in a Non-Reference 6950 in Linux Post by: goxed on July 27, 2011, 02:57:27 AM Guys I have tried aticonfig under Linux, but it does not downclock the RAM on my non-reference 6950. I have three of these cards, and it fails to change memory clock speed. It works fine for the 5830 card.
I read that ati-traytools can do this for non-ref 6950 in Windows. Does anyone have success using a similar tool or command line script / code under Linux? Start with "aticonfig --od-enable". The commands for changing clocks are summarized here:
