Then it drops again and slowly increases over time.

There are sometimes small network fees when you transfer NYG from one wallet to another. This is to pay the miners who process and secure the network. NYC also has fees (It's the same codebase). NYG's just had enough of the NYC "no network fee" claim which has been proven false.

It is very possible your chain data is corrupted and the coins are not showing in the wallet's front end - but that doesn't mean they are gone, so let's take this step by step!

#1 - According to the screenshot you posted, your wallet isn't synchronized yet. Please make sure to fully synchronize the wallet.
#2 - Please open the console by going to help, debug, console and type the following command: listtransactions . If you could paste the result here, this will show us where the coins went, or if they are still in the wallet but just not visible in the front end.

Try to find a transaction in that list that has a wallet address, then we can look at the wallet address on a block explorer.

Those are orphan blocks from the old chain that was invalidated. The reward was 100K due to a bug in the logic (which has been fixed). Currently it's still possible for us to make changes to the reward structure, for example if the community wanted to reduce the final block reward even further. We will not invalidate the entire chain again as we did at block 1699, but if there are any issues with the final reward that you would like changed, please post here! In this case, it was not a corrupt wallet but someone who mined on the old chain. It's unfortunate that we launched code without testing it properly, but the result was that we changed the software rules at block 1699 and restarted. This was to make sure that the block rewards were going according to schedule. So technically, his coins still exist on another chain.. This other chain mines 100K coins every block, so it was not desirable. The result was an unexpected fork and since no one continued to mine the other chain, he effectively lost his coins. We thank you for understanding that this is beta software and we are experimenting with it and learning together as we go. The reason we can change the rules is because we have very few nodes. The more nodes, the less control we as the dev team have over the chain and it's rules. (Dencentralization)

Hi Everyone,

There was a problem with the main seed node and it went down.

Around the same time pools started dropping the coin.

A wallet fix was issued with a new seed hardcoded node, but not advertised. This did not fix the issue as the chain refused to sync.

We are stuck now with one chain that doesn't go past block 58 for some reason. Wallets were pulled from github.

We are currently trying to figure out what to do next. More nodes at this point in time will not help. However, it would have definitely helped to prevent this.

I sent ticket no. 2018 to AltMarkets, they refused to return the coins. Suddenly removed from trading pairs and liquidated balances on the balance sheet (I had at least 10,000,000 coins). Do not leave time for customers to withdraw (on other platforms at least 30-45 days).

We advised NYG was being delisted weeks ago, it's the incompetance of the team that led to the project firstly being delisted as well as zero communication broadcast towards the NYG community about the delisting.
