Title: What server chassis are out there that support quad GPU's (8 expansion slots)? Post by: Internet151 on July 27, 2011, 04:20:40 AM I've been looking for a while for a rack-mountable server chassis with 8 expansion slots and all I can find is the Chenbro RM41300G for around $150. Is there anything else out there, or is this my only option?

Post by: dlasher on July 27, 2011, 06:58:28 AM while I can't help with what you should get, I'd avoid that Chenbro. insufficient airflow for quad GPU's (not to mention power connectors on top.) Post by: NetTecture on July 27, 2011, 07:20:55 AM My company currently works with some metal businesses trying to come up with a 6 RU unit (6 rack units) for 6 graphics cards.So far it looks like we go with cards mounted 45 degree tilted, to lessen the overhead from the power cables. Will require raiser cables, though.
