Title: Bitcoin Bloodbath to End
Post by: Alex Khvatov on March 31, 2018, 12:34:33 AM
Evidently, the market is looking negatively on Bitcoins and altcoins at this moment. However, that trend is about to come to an end. There are a number of great bullish developments:

REGULATORY

+ Positive G20 Financial Summit stance

+ Chinese regulatory posturing to clarify soon, as Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China (Fan Yifei) noted

+ Lightning Network and SegWit increase legal recognition of digital currencies

+ Seoul Mayor aiming to launch the capital city's own crypto and establish better environment for blockchain startups

INFRASTRUCTURE

+ CBOE support for Bitcoin ETFs

+ T-Mobile tech support for distributed ledgers

+ Coinbase announcing upcoming support for ERC20 tokens

SOCIAL SENTIMENT

+ MailChimp has clarified that its stance against cryptocurrency ads to not include accounts that disseminate crypto-related information

+ Leading analysts (such as Abra CEO Bill Barhydt, Fundrstrat's Thomas Lee) are bullish about the year end target of $25,000 for BTC

+ Major Polish bank will implement a blockchain document storage system

+ Audi has announced that it is exploring the use of blockchain to enhance its distributional network

+ Morgan Stanley releasing a report and commenting that they are expecting BTC to rise, and this is just a temporary slump

ECONOMIC

+ Analysts predict that institutional investors will capitalize on the temporary slump

Yes - the market is volatile, but we all knew that. I don't think there should be a shadow of a doubt that bitcoin will rise again.

But its just a matter of time that this good news will be passed to other users then surely we just need to wait and hold for the moment.

Those are some good news!!
Firms like Audi thinking seriously about entering into the crypto world can always launch the coin, at least in relation to popularity, which is a great thing!!
Now, to be honest, and, due to Bitcoin recent prices, recent ups and downs, I prefer to stay calm, to observe and to wait, for the market seems to work sometimes in a mysterious way!! Bitcoin is really low today, so I prefer not to deposit hope into the new goods, but stay calm and wait for the market to speak...

This one's a long list of imptovements right here. I would have to say, if it won't make btc rise, then what will? We just have to hold on to our bitcoins till they all give an impact for it to increase in value. I think this is it, this is what we all have waited for.

Well, I sure hope that all these positive insights will really help people to see how great the future of bitcoins will be together with all the other altcoins out there that can be dragged along by bitcoins if ever it rises up again. If this happens, then people would not be worrying too much or even think about selling because of panic due to all the baseless fuds that roam the internet and this forum today. I just hope that people do not only read but also try even harder to understand.

If I had merits, I would've already given you one for this great post.

I hope so it will end the bear market soon. The longer we are at the bear market it will take us longer to recover and break new high. Anyway, I am no plan of selling before and no plan of selling now. It will help speed up the value of cryto currencies in general with shorter bear market. In few years hope we all can look back at price and say it was only 7k.

You need to look at the production cost of Bitcoin as a floor that will either result in declining difficulty or a correction above production to maintain some form of margin for the miners.  We have seen it dip under this before when production was at $200 and it went under (about $170) for two weeks and then immediately bounced back up and continued its upward trend.

But its just a matter of time that this good news will be passed to other users then surely we just need to wait and hold for the moment.

Any shortsighted review of the price chart could make you think so. Bitcoin has been on a very large, very consistent downward price trend ever since it hit the all time high around $20,000 last year. Every time it bounces off a new recent low, people want to proclaim the bloodbath to be over only for it to soon continue dropping to fresh recent lows. It happened around $12,000, it happened around $10,000. It happened around $9,000, $8,000 and now $7,000. Zoom out a little bit and there's no reason to think it's done now. People have to face the realization that the market was a bubble, the price was out of control and it was not sustainable.

It's way too soon to say that it's over, the price is still dangerously low. Some of this news is good news, some not all that important. None of it is big enough news to spark a revival in bitcoin prices, if it happens it won't be down to this news but just because people start to realise a bottom has formed and 6-7k is a bargain price.

You posted a lot of positive and bullish news but most of them will have no effect on Bitcoin, only a few can actually work as a trigger to begin the next bull run (which I believe is what most of us have been waiting): Lightning Network, and the G20 crypto regulation in July, the latter can further add legitimacy to cryptocurrencies which will bring a positive light to the crypto market making investors pour a lot of new money into the cryptosphere.

About the current downtrend, I wouldn' call it a " Bitcoin bloodbath" but more like an "altcoin bloodbath" since they're the ones taking a big hit right now. It seems like the market needs a big push to even start the recovery phase.

The real community must always have a common goal. It is impossible to create panic in people United by one goal. Therefore, it seems to me that the price of bitcoin will be such as it should be only after a community of odnodumtsev is really created. Now everyone pulls the blanket to his side. These contradictions do not allow us to upgrade bitcoin and make it easier for the whales to manipulate prices. Soon governments will play on our contradictions and will try to organize regulation of bitcoin. Do you think this will have a positive impact on the price of bitcoins? All our troubles are in ourselves.

+ Positive G20 Financial Summit stance
Well from the summit here's a quick conclusion on what countries think:
https://i.imgur.com/Yt2tLun.jpg
+ Chinese regulatory posturing to clarify soon, as Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China (Fan Yifei) noted
China is looking to develop their own crypto AFAIK.
+ Lightning Network and SegWit increase legal recognition of digital currencies
Segwit is only helping in reducing fees and increase bitcoin adoption, people who use crypto don't know about segwit,so recognition of bitcoin is definitely not happening through that medium.
+ Seoul Mayor aiming to launch the capital city's own crypto and establish better environment for blockchain startups
How would this help to bring "Bitcoin bloodbath to end?"
+ CBOE support for Bitcoin ETFs
Didn't SEC come in between of this? There was some news about it that SEC wasn't allowing CBOE for these ETFs. Correct me if I am wrong.

There's no reason the price has to support miner profit. The price is dependent on supply and demand in the market only, not on whether or not the miners can make a profit mining. If they can't, miners who operate inefficiently will be forced out of the mining market and the difficulty will adjust downward. But it will not interrupt supply of Bitcoins, which will continue to be produced at a constant rate. This is why the price of Bitcoin is not dependent on what miners are doing, because the same amount of btc will be created regardless of how many miners there are or if they're making a profit.

Seoul Mayor aiming to launch the capital city's own crypto and establish better environment for blockchain startups
I am expecting more countries coming up with their own crypto currency and that is what we will be seeing in the future as a trend.  :D
Some of the poor countries who does not have the capital could raise money and in return if they can come up with great projects, it is a possibility to flourish .

Quote
Coinbase announcing upcoming support for ERC20 tokens
They might be accepting only major coins as there are a lot of coins in circulation ,i do not see how they are going to choose which one to list, may be according to the volume they will be listing the tokens.  :D

We only need to keep on supporting and don't make any alarming post that could lead some members into leaving and do panic selling. Crypto have proven from crisis before and still on the good shape after, maybe we shall not be on doubt of it's capability anymore.

There are plenty of good news about cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general but the price is still depressed.

I do believe that there could be deliberate attempts to sell down cryptos while some people are accumulating as much as they can.

When the big players have bought as much as they can, under the radar by buying small lots over long periods..I believe that crypto will recover

in the same furore as 2017!

At this point, I think we're just bottoming out on the current trend before we start seeing growth.

Until crypto is killed through regulation (if it can be killed) it will always bounce back, mainly because it's a great vehicle to make a quick buck for high net-worth individuals.

The blood bath might last a bit longer thought because a lot of people are still panic selling and dumping so much coins into the market and they are increasing the supply in the market and without enough demand to balance out this supply then prices would keep going down. It will end but it might just take a while longer than we are expecting it to take.

People tend not to understand how the market character, who often thinks that a market like that, and for me it's like that, negative or positive news, ups and downs of market prices and all who care about the price is very sensitive to some people for fear of profit or their money runs out, not realizing that there will come a huge rise not always down. From the earliest times of such a market but they did not panic and were used to or trading or investing in addition to bitcoin, they had learned the rise and fall of business, bitcoin just waiting time and wanted support from all users, because the price dropped its users who were selling because of panic , everything must remember that and change your way of thinking.

I thought the G20 meeting hasn't been finalized yet. Well nevertheless, all this are all welcoming news, probably soon enough, there will be less FUD from the government and also probably get their supports. With this, I hope more investors invest in cryptocurrency (especially bitcoin). Not just weak investors that complains and sell off when the prices dips but those who can stand the storm and HOLD!

They will reconvene as far as I know to make the final decision in July so yes, they haven't finalized anything yet as of the moment. But the initial news come very surprising to me as I personally thought that the outcome will be the cause of another massive drop but I was wrong (although the price did drop after the meeting, but it has nothing to do with the G20 thing). Hopefully this July, something drastic will resulted in a bull run because of the G20 meeting. Let's hope for the best.

But as far as ending the bloodbath, its to early speculate although yeah we have seen some minor gains, it is still not enough to swayed old investors to once again pour this cash. What we are seeing is traders, taking advantage of the market but doing daily trading and just taking small margin of profits. Again, let's see how it pans out but I have a feeling that everything will change this month.

Yes - the market is volatile, but we all knew that. I don't think there should be a shadow of a doubt that bitcoin will rise again.

I really hope all these positive news are true because I have been holding for quite a while.
I bough bitcoins late last year when the price was about $16000 and since then I have been expecting a turn up in the price of bitcoin because panic selling it will result to a great loss and I believe no trader would love to run at a loss.
It's my prayers that the price of bitcoin increases greatly so that I can sell my bitcoins and then buy again

I think it is just normal to have dump in price like we experienced last week. The market analyst mentioned that some of the December 2017 investors has given up and sold their bitcoins. They were aiming to minimize their loss because they believe that bitcoin will drop again. I don't agree with that prediction because it shows on your post that there are a lot of changes that will entice the investors again. I think bitcoin will recover again and keep on increasing until December 2018.

This question was posed with a very emotional tone, because real money, real individual savings are on the line. When bear markets set in its extra important to cold and rationale about who to trust and what rubric to use in accessing new projects.

So we are already below that point. We should be sitting around 8000 USD at the very least to feel comfy and bullish. Personally, I find everything above 5000 USD to be bullish right now, although breaking the bottom at 6000 would be a sad moment for many people.
My predictions since February was that we'll hit double bottom at 6000 sooner or later, so last week's move didn't caught me off guard, but like I said, going below 6k out of the blue would be quite strange.

That time when we went below $200 was a real bloodbath with people were still thinking that Gox and China destroyed cryptocurrencies and no positive news to break the fall. those were the years of the silk road auctions, the bitstamp hack, BTC being widely called the worst performing currency and much more.

As we all know, bitcoin has been massacre in the past few months. Maybe it will continue, maybe start to recover. But the recovery usually takes a while, and the news does not make the bitcoin surging immediately. The market is now a process of revaluation. Last year's ICO was too deep to hurt the encryption market.

As of this posting, Bitcoin had just stayed from almost or above 7,000$. The market is really going crazy. Very volatile by now. I just don't know where is it leading to. If it is dropping even more then it is possible that many will lose their money on investing bitcoins. I just hope the positive news will win over the fears of coin holders so that prices could become normal again.

But also look at the kind of massacre affecting Wall Street! It had the worst April since the years of the Great Depression in 1929. There is hope that investors will flow out of stocks and diversify into crypto-assets. Especially, since you know, it makes sense to buy low :)

Bitcoin is not something which you can take this way and that it is not a good idea to do so. It is really a very good opportunity for all of us and that it can change our lives in far better way and that you need to avail this opportunity not only for your own goodness but also for the goodness of your family and that it can surely give you a chance of making a much better living as well.

What makes you think the market is not busy? It has been busy with fluctuations even in the downtrend and people are still holding while some are busy selling, and what we have now is just something that is necessary for the way forward whether we like it or not.
Usually the second quarter of the year is normally when decisions are made and with that, a lot of things will be affected which for now we are just keeping arms crossed. However, we have to understand that bad news travel faster than good ones, so we may take some time before we get to see the market recover.

Actually I see it as smart investors just seeing a lot of greed in the market last year and then deciding to opt out of the market knowing the outcome is always one that would not make sense after all. The market got highly speculative, we had a huge bull run, and that move drove us into a hard correction which we are still trying to find some consolidation for now.

They obviously will know when to get into the market when the time comes and they are just on the side of the fence watching in 3D. Being a true bitcoiner, I am eagerly awaiting for the day when bloodbath will be completely finished off. Fluctuations are good but this kind of complete downfalls are really hurting.

A lot of people will actually be an April fool if they end up not buying back into the market now at this dip as a result of panic. With the way things are going, it is getting obvious that trend is changing from negative news to positive ones and it usually happens that way before we start seeing trend changing to the upper one in the market. I believe a lot of news would be coming pretty soon and the weak hands that have been shaken off will really feel pity for themselves.

This is not a sure thing to give either bad or good impact on bitcoin and some cryptocurrencies,
We need to wait more time to see the effect, but one thing more that we don't want to see any time is those exchange closing and waving white flags because of those people and groups who want to regulate cryptocurrencies.

There are really a lot of great news to us, however, it was quickly buried when one negative news that will come along. LOL. The only thing in bad shape was your own, and other noobs their mental health.

Bitcoin has been performing better than ever before, and kept growing constantly throughout the years, and even last months. If you and the majority of the noobs keep focusing on peaks alone, you'll see a completely different market; one that is totally disconnected from the reality. If you strictly follow the bottoms of the last years, and draw a line from bottom to bottom, you'll be seeing growth, and that's something people completely ignore.

If you have the balls to invest at that point, then show balls as well when the market is going down, because that's what you bought yourself into. It's pointless and retarded to jump in at $20,000 and then complain about the price correcting to more appropriate levels. Don't invest in something you don't understand, especially if it is related to crypto, because you'll lose big time. It may sound harsh, but reality is harsh, just as harsh as losing money. Common sense, all people have it, but only a very few know how to use it.

But, my experience tells me I can not have this opportunity to see the price of Bitcoin reaches that value sooner than May or the mid-year.

But by the beginning of the second quarter, all these new protocols wil be stable enough and will raise the market. By the third quarter it will gain more momentum. I just hope by the fourth quarter of the year the price of bitcoin will be more substantial

Yes, things are improving on multiple fronts and I am sure that as a maturing user base, we will strong contribute in the growth of crypto industry in the coming years. The basic thing is lack of awareness when it comes to the using crypto on the individual level and then it comes the fear of missing out which happens in the case of most of the newbies. Most of us have learned a good lesson in a harsh manner in the recent correction and I am optimistic that things will improve soon.

3 gold

I do not know how strong dollar will affect on bitcoin but usually while it  grows all assets drop.

Stock does not feel well and going to drop so investors likely will choose gold  as asset for investing and may be one or several crypto coins.

They leave by selling at loss and then the market recovers, they feel it is just another sham and then the market keeps going up and they join FOMO over and over again. Is it not absurd that people can be thinking in the same way and expecting to get different result ?

It is happening always to see a downtrend in a market and if they are not happy because they bought at the top, they should buy the dip to cover up, but indeed they are looking for short term investment and not long term.

Shit happens but we just have to get used to it, lol. Actually, we cannot expect the market to just start a rise all of a sudden as all these things will take some time and we will still get to see those huge greens eventually after some level of patience. I understand though that the market has been pretty boring which is understandable, but that is what happens after we have had some huge days of red and the market trying to find the next move.

End of downfall maybe marked along with new peak price level. But I believe most people here will be happy now itself also as bitcoin prices are nearing $10k levels which may be a start of rising and end of bloodbath. But we must wait till $20k to confirm the actual end of bloodbath.

Absolutely, it's just a matter of time to get up and show a positive trend for bitcoin, for now it's very difficult for bitcoin,To argue hot and long because the problem is not here, bitcoin just needs people who really hold on bitcoin, so it can make the market a bit busy.

I have held on to the belief that the pressure on bitcoin will end one day. I also noted that bitcoin is fighting a fight of a lifetime. I stated that bitcoin will win though it will be wounded. The wounds are healing. More persons are embarrassing cryptocurrency. The market is recovering and stabilizing.

Maybe a new round of blood washing is going on!

The flaw in the ETH wallet affects the entire digital cryptocurrency market!

People have a new round of panic selling!
Holders gets too excited to sell, we need to be patience still for some are not yet believing still that it can still make another peak that's why they selling it.
What are you guys even saying? Holders and the real one actually do not sell if you are implying that and weak hands in the process of the market doing their thing can go ahead to sell if they want, no one cares. Market is bound to always behave as a market, when a market is overbought, you see a retrace which is called correction and when oversold, you also see a retrace. Stop fixating everything to weak hands or Ethereum this and that.

I think that the time has already come and now will see bitcoin price continuously increasing for a long long time. I think that very soon we will see the bitcoin price trading above 20000$ from where it has already drop in past, this time we can hope that bitcoin price will hopefully cross the 25000$ very soon, and will surely give us a very good profit.

These types of corrections will happen again it doesn't matter what price things go to ath will be broken again and opportunities will present themselves over again, don't ever feel like you missed the boat. learn from what just happened the market has a long way to go in growth terms - just don't get caught out next time it dips.

I agree that out burst for the up surge has already started but not all the reasons you have listed here are responsible for that. First of all if any country, company or entity announces that they are going to explore the blockchain applications then it has got nothing to do with the bitcoin and its hikes. Bitcoin is just another currency or project that runs over the blockchain.

Anyway it is good thing for us that we are finally looking at those green peaks for which we were waiting since very long period of time. The crypto currencies are blooming in the right direction may be for all your reasons listed or may be not but the good thing is they are growing.  ;)

Great, because a lot of people have lost their money since the beginning of this year. Now let them have the opportunity to get their money back.
I am not so sure that many of the people that lost money are going to come back for seconds with just a slight recovery of the market, think about it those that are getting bitcoin right now are the ones that invested before the previous bubble and that are still in profits despite the huge crash that we witnessed, everyone else that was a first time investor at that time is probably out.
That is always the problem they end up having.

It is completely absurd but that is the way people are, instead of concentrating on learning the most about the market and about investing they got the FOMO and invested not thinking of the consequences, when anyone that has read even one book about investing knows that the moment where everyone is buying is not the moment to follow like a sheep that is the moment to sell.

hopefully with all the positive news above, can immediately lift the price of bitcoin and altcoin minimum as before and maximum can be higher than the achievement of the end of 2017 ago, I also until now very sure that what is happening now is only temporary, and who be patient and hold the coins in i vestasikan then he is the one who will be lucky, that's my opinion for this

Cryptocurrency do really have the advantage and disadvantages in terms of economical use but since it was helping different people in their daily lives then there is a huge chance for every business to be affected just like banks.

Hope it returns back to normal track and starts growing towards $10K by end of June 2018. Last year growth has began in mid of July and hope so the trend begins this year as well. At least there should be a double growth hitting minimum $30K by end of December 2018. The blood path is really a good chance to buy as much as we can. Wish to utilize this situation and gather coins.

People expect too much from the market, which is the main obstacle, not the demand. If everyone just accepts that the pump to $20,000 was an artificial increase, people will start to appreciate current levels more.

We aren't even all that far away from the fake pump of last year. Bitcoin 'only' needs to jump up with 160% from current levels to reach an extremely hyped and overbought market peak.

If you think about that, you'll realize that $7600 might still be somewhat on the higher side, and not low as some people here think it is. If anyone here thinks $7600 is low then use that as an opportunity to buy some coins.

The current prices are a steal if you have some money to spend then this is the perfect time to invest in cryptocurrencies, I know that many people are still afraid because of what happened but investing is about taking risks and this is about as low as a risk as you can take and still make great profits so I envy those that have the cash to invest right now, they can make some incredible deals.

Actually, we can't neglect such of having a reddish market due to the some factors affecting it's trend. Though we wanting to put an end on it but definitely it won't be happen. Thus, this nature of change is considered  to be a part of our engagement into crypto and even real stocks investment, it also happen.  May we just have to accept it and just wait for another roll of market trend.

Indeed that the bloodbath will end any moment in this month. We may see a lot of people joining in again and will be Fomod.

These are just the fud from the people who do not want bitcoin to get success. They only want to dump bitcoin with false news as they know that if bitcoin will be there then it will be the king of all coins and these people who are against bitcoin want some other coin to come with which they want to millionaire like the early investors of bitcoin.

Speculation market is always like that , people must get themself mold as per the situation.

Bitcoin is designed to use , Use it. Don't stock it.

Correct. We'll just have to use it in a proper way. Forget about the haters, and just do what is right. Sometimes we have to grow and be mature to accept what are the day-to-day challenges. Of course, we are sometimes at the bottom because of some competitors, but these challenges should serve as a reminder and a strength to each and everyone of us, not a threat like just what they have said.

And according to technical analysis I think Bitcoin will drop lower, till $ 3K, may be even lower.

TA indicates several possibilities at this stage, which is either a massive up or downward movement.

If we look at how the market on its way down forms higher bottoms, but also lower tops, we will soon get our answer and see what we will go through. I am confident that the higher bottoms will break out of the lower top cycle in the coming months, but there obviously aren't any guarantees. For now I want to see how the $7000 level maintains its position, and more importantly, whether or not it has been another higher bottom.

If that doesn't hold, which isn't the end of the world, we still have $6400-$6500 and then as main barrier the $6000 level. In other words, we can prepare ourselves for some very interesting months. :)

Sorry, but you cannot expect every day to be Christmas or expect bitcoin to just keep going up without any form of retracement. It is a market, and nothing is always going to be guaranteed, it is just a pity that a lot of people listen to speculations, which ends up making them to join FOMO like we had last year with the hope that yeah, they are going to be getting very rich in few minutes and all these things would always give birth to weak hands. We need to start seeing cryptocurrency in general for what they are but not as a way to get rich quickly and that mentality makes it so easy for the whales or institutions to play with the mind of premature investors.

Well, I am not sure what you are actually implying by suffering hard but one thing I certainly know though is that bitcoin really need to be accepted as a currency than just an asset that is purely speculative or else we are just going to keep seeing all these processes recycling itself over and over and over again.

This is not a get rich quick scheme as some people always assume it to be, it is far more, and until a lot of people started understanding the real usefulness before they would know they should hold on tight no matter what or find ways to play with the fluctuations as a trader than panicking over nothing.

That is true, speculations are just speculations, people need to understand that bitcoin is not always on its glory stage, it has some crisis too, Dont expect too much to a currency which is changing its value from time to time, The most realistic holders of bitcoin must think this way that, risking to a trustworthy coin is not a waste of time, it is profitable in long term method.

I  feel free country. The best time of that. The problem with this day, but even if they have to do that for all over the world. The problem is not a bubble bath and the road that bitcoin will pump again soon. Cause we should hold on our taxes. I am enjoying the world at the future. I think the best thing that you can do on your savings.

Yeah I agree on you mate, we just need to be patient that the market will reverse the situation and make a good rally to push the price higher. Remember that bitcoin can make a good rally same as what happened last year.

Each user were speculating in a positive manner believing that bitcoin will grow and get out of the bloodbath. Quite often it looks like a recovery, but in no time once again the price fall happens taking the price of bitcoin along with altcoins fall low in value which also leads to the fall of the entire capital.

Yes many good thing are coming and support cryptocurrency. I believe in few month we could see bitcoin grow. There is even good support from korea that supreme court in south korea say that bitcoin is a legal asset. It sure a good news for us cause i believe this would make more investors come to invest on bitcoin in south korea.
Things are not going to improve that soon, people need to understand this, my intention is not to be negative but to open the eyes of people that seem to be forever trapped in a state of positivity, there are going to be difficult times in any market and this is one of those moments and it is very likely this bear market last at least until the end of the year with the possibility of being longer than that.

We've been waiting for bitcoin to get back to $10,000 but it seems tired and can't move forward as of now.

Bitter truth. One reason why this market to keep being like this most especially until we start seeing virtually most of the people all around the world seeing bitcoin as a proper means of currency for transactions purposes and easy one most especially when making international transactions than how they see it now as a speculative asset.

That mindset that a lot of people have with bitcoin getting them rich overnight is just way absurd and that would keep bringing about the issue we have with a lot of panic fingers in the market.

Looks like this did not work at all. No one knows what really is going to happen and why this did not affected the current scenario of the crypto currency. Though all the good news were in line then also they did not move the price upwards a bit also.

Now it looks like that crypto currency is just correcting itself as the market gotten into heavy pumps last year. So this one is clearly case of course correction and nothing else. So doesn't matter whether it is successfully launched G20 summit or some other countries accepting the crypto currencies legally and pouring money into it.

The bitcoin bloodbath has already ended but the problem is with its recovery. If only these kind of news will be spread across the internet and much faster than the negative publications then bitcoin could already started to increase in value. But its just a matter of time that this good news will be passed to other users then surely we just need to wait and hold for the moment.

Most of the time many investors ignore this kind of news because they much focus on what is the next step of the government. We can't blame them becausw after all its their money and also their duty to follow the law imposed to them. But for people that their country has already legalized cryptos then they will enjoy this kind of development and might help to increase its value.

The fall is just temporary and once the small rise starts to happen all those who are staying away or saying negative about it will the first one to jump in to make profits and then will start praising as they have made money from it. So it is just small phase of the fall.

I am still seeing drops only in bitcoin prices. This year had been very bad for crypto if we compare to last year.
It is funny that so many people still feel that every day should just be the same on and on without any form of craziness. This is a market and a decentralized market for that matter, and the earlier people started getting used to that fact the better it would be for them when they are making investment decisions.

Last year was the year of FOMO, and this year is the year of the bears at least so far, but that does not mean we should just imagine that things have turned sour because of that as the future is still very bright for those who are smart to take advantage of these dips.

If there are in fact big investments companies interested in investing right now it is in their best interests to not reveal what they are doing or that may increase the price of cryptocurrencies and they will need to pay more for the same asset, if I were them I will keep silent and buy as much bitcoin as I can while these cheap prices last and only reveal what you are doing once you are comfortable with your holdings.

People will panic every time, no one wants to lose their money which is why every time the price drops it would almost go drop back to the lower lows. Though they almost certina the price will be back up, they tend to dump because accumulating more is what triggers the greed. I have to admit I'm doing that every time but sometimes lose instead.

This is unfortunate but it is the truth, the ones that are complaining the most about the price are the ones that most likely will not make money with bitcoin, do you see the whales complaining? No, they are just accumulating bitcoins, and the same is true for long term holders and the professional traders, not a single one of them is complaining, the ones that are doing it are the ones that do not know why they invested in the first place.

REGULATORY

Not necessarily. I do agree that most of the complaints are coming from profit chasers, but everyone can see that the market is breaking low after low. It's manipulation, but that doesn't change the fact that we are actually moving down and the market technically isn't doing well lately. The main point of importance is that while the market is going down, everyone has the opportunity to make the most out of it. If anyone here has bought coins well above $10,000 in the last months, then this is the right time to lower the average significantly by buying at current levels. I do exactly that and I'm pretty satisfied.

Hopefully. We should learn how to be more patient this time because this dips is just temporary. We will see a bright future with this crypto investments when the bull run starts to take over.I know there are still good news that is coming along the way so better wait for them until they will be realized after a bloodbath is over.

Well I can not say bitcoin will die, because of the bloodbath. Bitcoin is a very strong  currency and I know that soon the bloodbath will end.  Because their is a coming price hike rollback that bring us to life again.
Exactly.Bitcoin is known to be a strong currency and the most trusted one in the crypto world so it will never just die in just a sudden. If you traced the price movement right now,it's still quite higher compared to those in previous years so better to be hopeful because this will surely come to an end after a couple of days.

For those people who are saying that bitcoins is a blood bath, they just did not know how to handle cryptocurrency and they are losing profit today due to the market price that is decreasing right now.

Same situation is happening on my side i did eventually bought up when it is still on 8k usd price and dumping out those coins wont really be ideal therefore instead on panicking you can eventually possible to break even or lessen your loss on buying out the dip.I had purchased recently on possible dip price on 5900+ on this case when the price start to cling up you would really gradually lessen up your losses and as an investor this should really always in mind not easily on saying things about quitting or saying crypto is dead but rather we should utilize smartly with our moves.

This is something I can agree with, while we can complain all we want about the FUD we cannot change the fact the price is in fact going down and this is having an impact among all the investors but while this is bad at the same time this is the perfect time to take advantage of these low prices, if I had some money to spare I will invest everything in bitcoin since I have no doubts that in the future the price will recover.

Well yes, everyone is expecting this blood path should end and should see coins growth back on track at least to the minimum. This current correction is the longest one compared to the past corrections. But if you have seen the hike right after the corrections happened earlier, it would be soothing us. There had been a huge hikes right after these corrections. So hoping for this correction to end and every coin value grow up.

Obviously its the longest because it has covered all of 2018. As compare to last year wherein if my memory serves me right, we didn't experience a month long drought, as bitcoin would tend to regular in about a week or two. Again, all we can do is hope that this nightmare will be over in a snap and the price going back to normal. But in reality, its hard not to think that it may go down the whole 2018 so I'm bracing myself and making the necessary adjustment in my crypto investment portfolio.

The forum is full of people claiming they lost money in the previous 6 months and when you look at the huge crash that we have seen I do not doubt that is the case, there are many people that consider themselves to be traders even if they do not have what it is necessary and when the market is going up it is very easy to look as if you know what you are doing but it is when the price goes down where your skills as a trader show up.

things work inside this industry and taking it as an advantage should always be in our mindset, forget about complaining and speculate that will lead you

I don’t think this is the end of bitcoin or any other crypto currency. These crypto currencies are suppose to be the very sustainable and versatile crypto currency and specifically the bitcoin which has made its existence since 2008 and has continuously making tremendous progress, though the time is not going good for bitcoin and the valuation has been deflated to a very low extent but it doesn’t mean that this is the end of bitcoin because pumps and dumps are very common rule of every kind of investment.

The bitcoin bloodbath was not caused due to the fact that too many users were in the bitcoin blockchain network and they were holding off the bitcoin to be circulating ragout the cryptocurrency market but for the reason that this had allowed the governments to convince that volatility in price is not good for their economy

This did not work at all. No one knows what really is going to happen and why this did not affected the current scenario of the crypto currency. Though all the good news were in line then also they did not move the price upwards a bit also.

Blood bathing is a pessimistic expression of bitcoin, even predicting the end of bitcoin. Exactly the same as the beginning of bitcoin, no one thinks bitcoin will be as big as now. But bitcoin is King of Coins so it is not afraid of falling, not afraid of being rejected, not even afraid of being banned in some countries. Bitcoin focuses as a future digital currency, more and more fans because bitcoin as an investment provides greater profits than other investments. So, falling is not a problem, but bitcoin will not end. Bitcoin holders are people who believe, because believing is the most important.

Good news is usually followed by an increase in bitcoin prices, because positive sentiment is formed from news spread in the media where the market responds in the form of more and more bitcoin purchases. Automatically when the purchase increases the price moves up. Maybe the price is not as high as December 2017, but the price signal has improved.

We really need to be calm about the bloodbath happening of bitcoin, because in the first place we can make it as opportunity to make profit by buying it in a cheaper price and put on hold for long term plan. Might be bullish market will come then sell it in a higher price with double profit to earn or much higher.

Are these all the suggested regulatories for cryptocurrencies? I am not opposing this one instead this suggestion is really good since the system does really need a third party to check how it works and at the same time the third party should only monitor and should not get involve with manipulation of the cryptocurrency system.

Blood won’t be shed within this year, since the bubble that happened last year are now in state of recovery so forgot about the growth for this whole year and maybe the next one.

We can expect Nov and Dec is the end of a bloodbath most probably as per last year market analysis bitcoin price growth used to happen mostly in nov dec and jan so this time also we can expect the same
It is a mistake to use the past to try to predict the future, you cannot say that just because in the last months of the previous years the price of bitcoin has gone up the same is going to happen this year, maybe you have not noticed but we are in the middle of a bear market and due to the crash it's not likely that we are going to see such a fast recovery.

That’s perfectly right mate,we must never use as basis the previous prices because we are in volatile world with decentralization expect changes in just a seconds and expect failure in an hour

I think this blood bath won't end easily. This may be take a long time for the market to recover since there is no large volume who is joining in the market movement.

Yes. I also think the same.
People will finally get tired of the dips and choose to buy up because of the cheap prices for all the coins right now. This will in turn create a good volume and make a new bullish wave for the whole market.

Each user were speculating in a positive manner believing that bitcoin will grow and get out of the bloodbath. Quite often it looks like a recovery, but in no time once again the price fall happens taking the price of bitcoin along with altcoins fall low in value which also leads to the fall of the entire capital.

nobody knows for sure. There are plenty of positive signs but lots of FUD and manipulation. If you can afford to continue to make small bets, consider dollar cost averaging. That way you get the price you paid for the asset you bought lower

I am also very confident that what is happening now is only temporary, and that I am patient and hold the coins in my vest, so he is a person who will be lucky, that's my opinion for this. And hopefully with all the positive news above, it can immediately increase the price of the minimum bitcoin and altcoin as before and the maximum can be higher than the achievement of the end of 2017.
