Title: Bitcoin price is falling down.
Post by: 1993jochico on March 31, 2018, 02:10:22 PM
Bitcoin price is falling down, falling down, falling down...
Bitcoin price is falling down, but dont worry.

I see a lot of thread about why bitcoin price is so down in the past few days, though Im not a bitcoin holder I search what is the main reason about this and I also want to know do people really need to panic.

Some of the threads Ive read is "Is this the end of bitcoin"?

All the major cryptocurrencies have taken a battering this week, declining by nearly $100billion across seven days.

Bitcoin (BTC) took heavy losses, dropping by 12.6 percent, from $7,900 to $6,600 in a 24 hour period.

While bitcoin managed some resistance at the $6,600 mark, it showed little sign of recovery.

Why is bitcoin dropping today?
Bitcoin last hit these lows in early February, 2018, dipping just below $6000 before spiking to $12,000, so investors should remain hopeful that history repeats itself.

Cryptocurrencies have been under intense scrutiny this last week amid continuing dissatisfaction in how tech companies such as Facebook secure and distribute user data.

It’s hard to say what the cause of this current crash is outside of a general mistrust in technology.

The biggest crypto coin wasn’t the only one to suffer from the slump, as the whole market endures a bearish trend.

Bitcoin has been known before to bounce back from bearish rends before, and there is no reason to think it won’t do the same again."

Bitcoin price will be stable in very soon we believe. Bitcoin transactions are increasing rapidly. The more people will become interested and invest in it the sooner it will be stable.

bitcoin is fighting for attention with other cryptocurrencies

Not sure if you mean Bitcoin is vying for attention in general or that altcoins are detracting from Bitcoin.

Both could be true, but I think the prior is the biggest problem right now. Cryptocurrencies have fallen out of favor with the press and the mainstream populace. While the well of investments dries up, all coins are fighting for scraps.

If we really want the cryptoworld to grow we can help by telling our friends, family, co-workers etc. and at the same time give them some knowledge about crypto currency so that if one of your friends get interested about on what you said it has a chance that they will invest on it and if that happen you already help the cryptoworld to grow even they spend a little money. They will soon understand and learn more and they will invest more.

Yes Bitcoin price is falling down but just for now there are lot of crypto currency that the bitcoin is facing. just wait until it go up again I am sure that there is nothing to worry about because every currency has its down times just look at the past bitcoin price and compare it right now you can say that there is much difference. There are some projection that the price of Bitcoin will be stable and high with the year of 2020 lets wait for the bitcoin to grow bitcoin time will come just relax nothing to worry. . .

Yeah, it’s very true. It has gone down quite a few times and again bounced back, and it will this time too. I don’t see any reason to stay low for long either.

If I would be asked, I'd still choose holding than to sell. Selling will just be a temporary aid to somehow cut the loss on profit due to the continuous dumps in the market but it also cut the potential profit as well. Since the market is really volayile at this moment, selling is really not advisable. Consider investing at times like thjs because profit will then be earned once the market starts to recover.

I don't think that this situation would be the end of bitcoin. Remember, once bitocoin price was one tenth of the current price. So, it may go sometimes high and sometimes low. My opinion is to take it easily and believe that time will change and so as bitcoin price.

For the last couple of months, there have been these bursts of 5000-7000 btc traded (total over all major exchanges) over a few minutes time (normal volume is a few hundred btc in this time frame). This cycle has happened maybe 30 or 40 times the last few weeks. I watch bitstamp market, and these bursts are almost always preceded (maybe a few minutes, maybe longer) by a bid to sell several hundred btc (most offers are less than 1 btc, very few offers greater than double digits btc, then suddenly a 200+ offer appears - you can be sure the dump will follow shortly)

This does not look like the market organically deciding btc is in bad shape, must sell. These downbursts almost are always the same amount of coins (5000-7000), and are always preceded by someone trying to sell several hundred btc before the dump, kind of implying some sort of inside information

Next time btc spike downward a couple of hundred dollars, feel free to check out the minute to minute volume at http://data.bitcoinity.org/markets/volume/1h?c=e&t=b and verify for yourselves, and come to your own conclusions, because I sure the f_ck don't understand what's going on.

Yes, though the bitcoin price is falling down there is nothing to worry. This is very natural for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. The price will soon start rising and if anyone has any doubt about it, he can check the previous records and get the proof that the price will certainly start rising. People just need to hold their Bitcoin and wait.

Yes you right, sir.

yeah, right now the bitcoin is falling down, but this downfall is unlikely to last a long time and do not have to worry because I'm sure bitcoin in the near term will surely show its price stability even more.

yes, now bitcoin is falling in value, and I think it's only temporary, so this is our chance to get more bitcoin, and I'm not afraid anymore bitcoin will rise back some time, so I'll get bigger profits at higher prices.

Bitcoin's value in present times are obviously not pleasing for bitcoin holders/users/traders. Its normal and can be change. So, for those wise people, they consider it as a "waiting is over" to finally grab their own bitcoin at a lowest rate and let stratagems rule in to attain their desired rewards.

Yes, the price of bitcoin has fallen from a few months ago, and its price has dropped from $20,000 to $6,600 today. I think investors who speculate have sold bitcoin for fear. The price of bitcoin has now reached the bottom, and it is about to start to recover, and the loyal fans of bitcoin will benefit from their persistence.

You think Bitcoin is falling down? It is not clear when Bitcoin price will be determined. But the fact that Bitcoin is growing or falling in value is quite normal. That is the inevitable rule of investment. But in the past few days, Bitcoin prices have grown slightly. Currently, Bitcoin has a value of more than 8,000 US dollars. It is important to have confidence in the growth of Bitcoin in 2018.

Bitcoin prices are difficult to predict when time can go up and down in a fast time. Many factors affect the bitcoin price, one of which is the negative news about bitcoin.

Then there was a rumour in the market that popular crypto exchange Binance has been hacked in an attempt to influence Viacoins price. Securities Exchange Commission SEC issued a statement last week that cryptocurrency platforms should not be called by the name of exchanges since it creates an illusion of regulated activity. Investors are misguided in believing various online trading platforms to be SEC registered and regulated marketplaces when they are not SEC said. Even the Financial Services Agency FSA came out with a statement that domestic cryptocurrency exchanges will be suspended. All these factors lead to nearly 11 percent plunge in Bitcoin price.
This is already old news and I doubt that they have affected the market price drastically. Of course FUD price down the market price but I don't think it has long term effect though. We might drop from as high as almost $10K to $8300 today but it doesn't mean that bitcoin will just die. Also, there are traders who practice shorting because of the market trend so we are struggling for another break out run. But I'm confident that we can recover and hit magical numbers at the end of the year.

He may be doing some time travel to the past to keep imagining things like this happening in the present. All the things he has mentioned anyway does not even look like anything affecting the market right now, as even SEC is trying to find a way to be lenient based on the last conference. Also, I guess the psychological barrier is just hard enough to break and the MtGox fever is still around the corner somehow with traders being careful.

Are you living behind of time or what? This is news that eventually ended up as nothing and binance was able to quickly deal with that as soon as possible where the hackers eventually ended up losing their own account anyway.

I am not sure where you are also getting your news from, because as it is now, the only thing happening are exchanges adapting to SEC regulations, such as exchanges like bittrex, and that is not affecting anything and in some cases of countries where it was becoming unbearable, they just had to relocate.

All the factors you have mentioned are just some of the few things that have happened or not even happening, but no one can say categorically if they are the cause or the market is just not ready yet for an uptrend.

I noticed that too. It seems to me that the bears have captured the market for the whole year. The situation will not change dramatically. There may be a slight volatility but the downward trend in prices will persist for a long time. It seems to me that the speculators left the bitcoin market and now we see its real value.

It seems to me that the goal of whales is achieved. The cryptocurrency market is dominated by decadent sentiment. This means that they will be able to buy a lot of coins at a low price. Now you need to know exactly how many coins they want to buy. When they reach their goal they will leave the stock exchange and the price will go up rapidly. But when this happens no one knows. Maybe it will take a few years.

You are absolutely right. Hacking is one of the big problems in crypto world and due to hacking many people do not invest in crypto. They are afraid of losing their hard earn money. Everyone wants profit against their investment and if their wallets have been hacked they will be ruined and will suffer big financial problems. Binance is the leading exchange and it should tighten its security.

the price still doesn’t start to recover, besides it is falling more and more and now it is expected that it will down to the level of $3000 in the next few weeks. It is possible because the price is decreasing day by day and may it hit $3000. We are not sure about the future price. The reason for the falling price I think is low demand from people and manipulation.

It is expected by whom? A bunch of self claimed experts and analysts that know nothing about this market? Don't believe anything of what you read -- the noobies here are being attacked from all sides by the mainstream media during this bear market. If all the naysayers really believed that Bitcoin would fall to such levels they would have done everything to short it with a pretty sick leverage multiplier. On top of that, what is there actually to recover anyway? The peak levels were purely driven by fomo and thus unsustainable. Current levels are exactly where we should be without anything justifying a further increase for now. It's better to just accept it.
