Is the bitminter Java client supported yet?
I sent a unit to DrHaribo almost two weeks ago and I think he is working on incorporating it.

Should be soon...

Maybe if you sent DrHaribo some extra units he can use them for more testing. We are out of units.

these look nice,  but with a 10.7ghs blade at only 0.80btc,   its hard to justify the price...

MANY  Asic usb stick buyers on ebay (I resell some sticks keep some for me)  can run a small hub with 4 sticks or even a 10 port hub in a free power setup.  Think dorm room.   A 7 port hub link this one.

http://www.amazon.com/GearMo%C2%AE-7-Port-Power-Adapter-Cable/dp/B00BZABE72/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383364839&sr=8-1&keywords=gearmo+7+port

will run 7 asic miner  sticks at under 30 watts.

1 blade needs 70 watts .  It is not plug n play on bitminter's java client. A lot of ebayers use doc h's java client

So if someone  has 7 AM sticks running right now on free power.  selling one of these will be an easy sale  plug n play.

More then 500000 AM sticks are hashing at this time worldwide.  these will sell they are a natural upgrade to any AM stick owner.   I do agree that .49 btc is high    7 am sticks cost .245 btc   half the price.

These could be lower  priced if they can make a lot of them.

The problem with your assumption is these guys are not the chip manufacturers. The reason Asicminer could keep dropping prices is because they made the chip also

These will likely never pay for themselves at 0.49BTC a piece.

You might break even at $25 a piece ... or 0.12BTC a piece.

I can replace 14 BEs for 7 of these? 7 ports will not be used in that case. Will this work?

I use the 49 port hub with Blue Fury's.  The BF's will squeeze side by side but too thick to stack them on every row - have to skip a row.

I just wish I could get it to work. I wanted plug n play on bitminter just like a BE  they are far from plug n play.

I can photo for you. you could fit 20 or more  and 20 AM sticks.  giving you 20x 2.2 = 44gh and 20 x .333 = 6gh = 50gh a hub

I don't see how you figure?  Even with BTC at $350, you'll never get close to recouping your costs.

it hashes at 7x am sticks.    so if i sell 7 of my 160 am sticks for 15 each on the bay  that is 105 bucks.  fees - 7 = 98 bucks shipping = -6 = 92 bucks

so put that 92 against the 110 this stick  is and I am paying 18 for it.

I have been getting 5 sticks for 74 on ebay the last few days due to the rise in BTC price.   5 sticks at 74 usd is   14.80 a stick.

so add 1.40 and i am getting these for about 19.40 each.  i mine at the same speed and my 160  am sticks pulling close to 500 watts  becomes 24 of these pulling 70 watts.

24 of these would be about 500 out of pocket.

http://k2b-bulk.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ListingConsole&currentpage=LCActive&ssPageName=STRK:ME:LNLK  my ebay sale is doing okay

How many can I fit comfortably on a dlink dub7 hub?

four   for sure.    stick-space-stick-space-stick-space-stick       so a hub that did 7x .333 or 2.3gh   will now do about 4x 2.2 or 8.8 gh

2.3gh vs 8.8gh and the 4 stick will pul less power.

the one stick I got is running with bfgminer 3.6.0  on bitminter.com   same pc is running am sticks using bit minter java client.  so you can avoid the issue of setup conflicts.  you can also clearly see what the stick hashes since it is the only one using bfgminer.   my stick has been 2.37gh which seems to be good for these sticks.  when I get the next 3 mailed to me I will post speeds.

One thing for sure   they should change the speed rating to 2.2- 2.5gh  plus or minus  10%.

the setup is harder then Am sticks. they are a lot cooler then am sticks.

I am waiting for my three. we spoke via pm on the 11th make that the 14th  .   I ordered the 8th make that the 9th.  I am getting a bit nervous .

I will go back and check dates.

I  checked the dates  I sent  the money for 3 on the 9th.

I asked about them on the 13th he replied on the 14th.  So I will wait a bit for them.  I am hoping all is well.  He did let me use paypal so I am protected.

1st shipment was fast.  I would think that holidays are starting up I should see them soon..  It does not make sense that he would let me use paypal and not ship.

Most likely this is a Post office issue.

they are hard to start.   what bfg miner do you use? use 3.6.0

and did you load the drivers. I will look for the youtube video link on driver loading.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUtcah8iSNE

this lets you do windows 7 drivers above

http://luke.dashjr.org/programs/bitcoin/files/bfgminer/

  use 3.6.0 for windows 7

once you have the driver loaded and you have done bfgminer up to the point of

password    click the reset button on the   stick then press enter on the password to start bfgminer  fast   boom boom.  if you wait too long before hitting the start of bfgminer after you hit reset it can freeze.

So it can see it, but I just cant get it to mine with it.  Do I have to run two different instances of bfgminer and or cgminer?

I  checked the dates  I sent  the money for 3 on the 9th.

I asked about them on the 13th he replied on the 14th.  So I will wait a bit for them.  I am hoping all is well.

Then maybe he's out of thumbs, or I need to PM him again, because I sent a message asking to order on the 12th and still have no reply.

So I got it to work..just have to run two instances of bfgminer:

bfgminer -S bigpic:all for the red fury

But now I am getting like a 45% HW error rate.

are you hashing over 2gh most of us get 2.2gh-2.4gh   the hw rate does not matter   as long as you get close to 2.2-2.4gh hash

Sorry for everyone who hasn't heard back.  I've been buried with my day job.  I promise to review all correspondence this weekend.

are you still getting those ghs numbers   both are over 2.5gh.  most of us get lower.   2.2-2.4

how are you sending power to them a usb 3.0 hub?

Yup still getting the same hash rate steady.  I was using cgminer before  and only got around 2.2~ but reinstalled drivers  and switched over to bfgminer.  now  im getting allot better.  I used the drivers from the blue fury support thread.  It took me a few days to get them running smoothly.   Maybe they need to be broke in  so to speak?

Tried the pencil mod from the blue fury support thread.  Sofar seems to be hashing away great. Getting a few more errors now.  I plan on messing around with it some more later today.   I have all of them on 2 anker 9 port usb 3.0 hubs

Does it need to be USB 3.0 if you do the pencil mod?

I wouldn't think  it would need to be USB 3.0 .   Just make sure you have sufficient power going to your fury before doing the pencil mod.

So with lack of responce from OP is this now dead?

Guess so. Too bad, it looks promising and it seems many people are interested in buying larger amounts. OP said earlier he'll reply to all PM's in the weekend. The weekend is over and still no PM.

All respect for people doing this next to a fulltime job, but with the fast going development of competitors and the ever rising difficulty and USD/BTC value, you can't afford to be slacking in replying to potential customers.

Having said that, with the latest jumps in value and the coming jump in diff, the .32 btc price should really be updated (downwards that is)

Sure he will get back to you when he can. He does have other commitments and can get busy at times.
