YescriptR16v2 is not brand new algorithm, which is a variant of yescript and which performs best on a CPU, modified from YescryptR16. All yescript algorithms share the following properties:

§ One password hashing scheme for many possible use cases that deals with many kinds of attacks

§ Scalable to arbitrary SIMD vector width and instruction-level parallelism § Optional TMTO resistance § When enabled, additionally makes attacks' area-time a few times higher

This is a coin by the same dev as Yenten. So far he just releases coins with new algos and disappears except for occasional git pushes or website changes. But the community takes over and it becomes a true community coin. The benefits are that the coin is released completely anonymously with no premine, ICO, or marketing hype. The goals are organic community growth, mining, and exchanges.

This coin is still very easy to mine, I'll teach you how if you don't know yet, since you can't use the setgenerate command in the debug window like most other coins:

1. Close wallet (if open)
2. Paste this into the pptp.conf file and save:


3. Open wallet again, it will automatically start mining. You can set genproclimit to however many threads you want to use, it may be best to set it the number of physical cores only, like yenten.

It was easy to build PPTP exchange with only few mods to .onion domain by opentrade script.

Awesome project. I'm definitely bookmarking this thread. Not a freelancer myself but I often hire freelancers to do some minor tasks that I don't want to bother my main team with.

I was mining PPTP with http://pptp.ukkey3.space/ for a while but discontinued as the site announced its closing down.   When I tried solo mining instead, I got 45 PPTP coins for block reward that is 9 coins more than what the pool was distributing.   I made an inquiry to the pool why only 36 PPTPs are distributed instead of 45 and got answer that 9 coins are for masternode reward.   

People have mined  around 7000 PPTP blocks with the pool so far.  The 9 PPTP coins per block, amounting over 60K PPTP coins were really distributed to the masternodes?  Why I am getting 45 PPTPs with solo-mining?  Is there any trick about it?  Can anyone tell?

Although the coin has no value at all,  I just wanted to clarify that out of my curiosity.

How to do solo mining?
