Title: White paper on passwordless secure login (based on bitcoin/bitmessage technology
Post by: Nite69 on November 02, 2013, 10:09:50 AM
Hi! We all are very frustrated to be forced to generate a new nickname and password for every site on internet. Here is a white paper on an idea of passwordless site login:

To make it simple; when you want to log in to a site, you just 1) go to the site on any internet terminal. 2) read the 2D barcode 3) you are in. Securely.

Nameid is nice, but you cannot login to a site from any random internet cafe. Also getting an id is cumbersome (you need a running namecoin server).
With BitLogin, you can securely login from any internet terminal. You can also generate a new id to every site (even several id's to a site) with only writing your nick and one 2D barcode read.

Actually, one could get rich by implementing the smartphone clients and selling this idea to facebook etc. for free.

btw, check id/nite69 ;-)

Hi,
As for me, I am testing the related vb.net barcode generator (http://www.onbarcode.com/tutorial/vb-net-barcode-generation.html) these days. Do you have any ideas about it? Or any good suggestion? I am totally a green hand on barcode generating (http://www.onbarcode.com/tutorial/csharp-barcode-generation.html) field. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Arron
