Title: How To Use The Conway's Game Of Life ( For The New Ranking JOKE System )Tutorial
Post by: cabalism13 on April 01, 2018, 01:20:04 PM
AND NOW THIS DON'T HAVE ANY VALUE AT ALL :)

First, you have to enlist your stats (you can just write it down)

https://i.imgur.com/5cJpfaE.png

Quote
Merit: 26
Activity: 98
Politeness: 139
fMerit: 822
Imagination: 16
Virtue: 49
Coins: 77
Karma: 0

Then Convert Every Numbers Into Binary:
(Here's a link for the conversion : https://www.convertbinary.com/decimal-to-binary/ )

Quote
Merit: 26 = 11010
Activity: 98 = 1100010
Politeness: 139 = 10001011
fMerit: 822 = 1100110110
Imagination: 16 = 10000
Virtue: 49 = 110001
Coins: 77 =1001101

Then Draft The 1's Here (Zeros are used as spaces , just to explain it well):

Then Click On The Start and Observe How The Cells Spread On The Graph.

As Theymos said, "If the cells never stop moving even after infinite steps, then you advance to the next rank." If NOT, then you don't.

As For The Result Of My Stats:

Your grid needs to be right-aligned with leading zeros, like theymos' example:

For example, consider someone with these stats:
Quote
Merit: 40
Activity: 56
Politeness: 36
fMerit: 56
Imagination: 36
Virtue: 40
Coins: 56
Karma: 40
This gives you a grid like:

Trying to mislead fellow forum members like that is very rude, unvirtuous and unimaginative. I'm sure a moderator will adjust your stats accordingly.

Which stats should I increase to boost my magic damage? I kept trying to nuke someone earlier today and it only did 1 damage per hit.

You definitely need some karma and more imagination.
Karma + imagination > 100 = 1 nuke per 100 activity per user
You can use some virtue too but i still cannot decode the secret message yet to unlock it, it should permit to give you god_mode so you can nuke every impolite user :P

I'm not misleading anyone here. Try for yourself, You don't even have to do what Theymos did, Just align it on the middle with your stats, Unless you get a Value of 010, or 001,... Then the Graph will be different. -_-  :P :P :P
Adding a certain number of Zeros doesn't have any different if you don't add on a digit.
It's just like you're differentiating 1,01 and 001. As long as it has the same value then nothing will result different.

yes, agree, I think the writing of binary numbers should be aligned on the right side, so the writing starts from the right side.
example:
5 = 101
10 = 1010
if it is written align the left, then the cell grid position will be the same result of the picture.
sorry, please CMIIW

 Hi,
If the cells never stop moving even after infinite steps, then you advance to the next rank.
If you don't post new posts, these values won't change, so you can always upgrade. :)

Should it still follow the old rules?

My English is not very good.
I hope you can understand what I mean

I think there are some implicit conditions,or new and old rules are met at the same time to upgrade.

Yes. To stop posting is the best solution. I bet that's what thermos was aiming for.

Oh thanks I'll try that. Does imagination also increase the quality of comeback? Might try coercing people out of my way rather than use mana.  :)

True. What's even funnier was that a lot of members were even concerned. I wonder what will be for next year. Last year they gave us altcoin icons, which were really cool.
