Yes of course, the price will go down, but we all know that in a long term, the price will EXPLODE, literally.

Yes this is very true, nothing will happen if you will get youraelf worried of the present condition of bitcoin value. We have to stay positive and believe that bitcoin will rise soon. I mean im quite positive it will.

I don't see a reason to worry. I assume that someone has invested a large amount to buy bitcoins. But I have long ago returned all the money that I invested in bitcoin. Now I have a net profit on my hands. I am completely relaxed and I am not afraid of today's price. I make money on the stock market. My income is in bitcoins and so the decline in bitcoin price I compensate by the number of coins.

It is true, every one accept your point because Bitcoin is huge potential cryptocurrency it will never failed in the market. But we should create a awareness of Bitcoin technology because still all the peoples are panic to invest in Bitcoin. Most of the Crypto sites are create a negative thoughts in this world it will also affect the market. We should support the cryptocurrency it will raise soon.

Yes it will probably, but the question is when? The asset that we dont have is time. It can be 5 long years until we reach new ATH....

most people really needs to practice more patient with cryptocurrency, This maket is really unpredictable and will put you on a stress if you think so much about your current situation that you have mark as a wrong decision because even if you had made a wrong one calmness is the right thing to do and patient is the right equipment you can take, And Actually this is a very common thing to do if you had engage in Cryptocurrency and it is a no-brainer kind of thing.

Patience is a virtue that most bag-holders possess. ;D If you are sitting on losses, then there is no other option but to be patient. If you decide to cut your losses and sell now, then you lose out on the chance of the next bull rally happening. Another option (if you have not yet invested money) is to buy again at the dips, so that you average out the cost of your bitcoins.

there are some predictions stating that bitcoin will become very critical if the price has touched $ 5000. and maybe it will happen soon. a prediction stating that the price could have touched the $ 500 mark if in this week the lower wall of $ 5000 breaks. it might be a very worrying panic

Well there's really not much to do in this kind of market anyways :D unless you want to be at a very big loss. Acceptance probably is one thing that can help calm you down. It's not the end of the world and patience will get us through these hard times lol

yes you are true patience and can control the personality of yourself will definitely give very much result because you do not sell it when the price is cheap, it is better when the price drops it is a good moment to buy coin again as much as you can and just wait until the price back up.

What does it mean to buy as much as you can? How much did you buy yourself? I'm sure you're not buying coins now. Most of us have limited income. We do not have a lot of free money for risky investments. The maximum that we can do is not to sell the coins we already have.

This is the mistake that newbies will hard to understand. When bitcoin goes down they all think that it's the end of bitcoin, "bitcoins dead", "bitcoins death is near". This isn't new but to those that understands that this is an advantage to gather more, buy more bitcoin it will be a good harvest when it goes up. Holding needs patience so yeah just stay calm.

there is not much we can do for now. actually our position is at the end of the horn, 50% confused and 50% confused!
as my own example. first, if i panic i will surely sell it directly. but I am scared! afraid the price starts to recover in the moment I've sold it.

Bitcoin is still alive.I agree their are lot of negative fluctuation in the bitcoin price,due to Fear and doubt.I had read in a crypto news,bitcoin will cross 12,000$ in this April.If you hold your bitcoin with patience,you will be awarded for that holding.Don't get panic.

Honestly, I am not seeing the current price right now and just going with the flow, we should put in our mindset that we will continue to hold until such time will come that we are already ready and that we can say that 'it is so worth it to wait' and will celebrate before the year ends again.

If we don't calm down then we will all put our investment in the garbage, this bitcoin really have a big chance to grow if we will just continue to hold it but if now and we are afraid of taking risk then I don't know what kind of future awaits for us.

The problem is how long we have the patience to do. I personally better sell now than to get big losses later and after that we wait for momentum to buy back when the market has a bullish run.

Buying the dip worked for years. Can't blame people for taking a while to switch gears. I remember clowning people the same way in 2014 and 2015. Yet some of the permabulls I knew ended up far outperforming savvy bears from that time. The price recently dropping 60-70% is really no comparison to the historical exponential gains. The people who relish in these crashes the most are generally those who never profit from the bubbles in the first place.

Tranquility is the source that causes panic to disappear in everyone's mind ,ppatience has unique characteristics similar to bitcoin prices and unique bitcoin characteristic as well ,it seems you are right patience that will benefit in bitcoin because it has the same characteristics in my opinion ,And this dip is a normal

Hold on for a moment and think - why exactly bitcoin is crashing right now? Because of some negative news (nothing global or major though), FUD and... that's all.
Some time will pass and as always people would pump the price of BTC again like it happened many times before.
I hope that this year we will see new ATH and hopefully BTC will reach $25k before the year's end.

This is a very serious advice that shouldn't be ignored. Most people in the cryptosphere always ignore these things and forgot that they are really important especially if you are trading volatile markets like this one. Being calm provide you a good grasp of what's happening and will let you decide efficiently for your trades. This coincides with patience. Many of my past trades could be much profitable if I just have the patience to wait for the right time to buy or sell my coins. These two will make your life being a trader easier. Without them, you could succumb to the negative happenings in the market today and will let you panic sell (with huge loss).

Most people tell to be patient in the current conditions, but better we all take advantage of the moment to get more profits by doing short trading, if just be patient the longer our mental will be more disturbed and continue in the shadow of fear.

We need to patient becauss for sure after few weeks or few months of waiting the price for sure will increase again and the cryptoworld for sure will be happy becaude finally bitcoin increasing again. But before that happen we need to buy more bitcoin and keep your bitcoin to your wallet until the price up again. Don't panic selling because it's not to you and probably it's not good to us.

I prefer to do this, but it is somethign pretty difficult to do if you do not have a proper knowledge of how to do it so.. So i prefer to stay way from short trading and focus on my main sources of income.

Im still as calm as a water , even with this bitcoin  price drop  . My holdings suffered from a very big loss  but still i mange to be calm and positive. I hope this storm will end this month.

Did you sell a lot, or just hodl ? Did you nurse the price anxiously, or just busy yourself in other areas ?

Myself, I run 2 full time businesses not connected with crypto, so that took a lot of my attention and hodling was the line of least resistance.

It's a matter of timing, I know how it feels to when your money is at stake but given the situation (even though it's quite hard to predict what would happen next) This is the best time to buy as the price is low. You are already at loss to start with it, I agree that by selling to cut much more losses is justifiable but before claiming it, Please do have enough information to support. Rush decisions could only result in such regrets.

Mt. Gox cloud is still there.. just because it stopped raining doesn't mean the sky is clear.  No whales are going to buy into that asshole dumping again..  he needs to be taken away from the account for good and they need to figure out how to send BTC instead of massdump

Easy to say keep patience until the market recover whereas we never know when it Will happen. I do not know how far we can survive if this situation is continue to deteriorate. I try to keep calm but I still worry if I Will lose my money.

yes it will never die , as long the price still high. But Unless if the price goes back to $100 'cause that is the most scariest price. So as long the price still expensive no need to worry on it. just relax and buy more instead while the price gaining strength 'cause surely after this it will rebound again.

Present situation is not good to sell it's the time to buy as many coins as you can as all are in red. Hold back the coins you have now with patience. The price would resume back to normal probably this month. It should zoom back to minimum $9K by end of April. So don't worry on things. Just move with other works holding back the coins. Profits would certainly hit your wallet.

lol. I feel these days patience is being over stated. I would rather stay smart, look at some conditions in the market that is not just looking normal and take advantage of it. However, for someone who did not sell at $19k, definitely, patience is the only virtue they need to have now until the market recovers.

Set yourself financial goals, stick to the plan taking profit at key points investing that money elsewhere buying back in on the dips.

The strategy has worked well for me, 2 years ago I paid off my current house and recently have made enough to buy a nice car and another larger house.  My current house will now go to my daughter when she is old enough giving her a good head start in life.

People may lost their patience as they are assuming that bitcoin is a easy money and they can milk more money into their investments and when the bearish market taking control the cryptocurrency all they can do is getting panic and lost their composure. Indeed, we need more and more patient to wait for the best price and don't expect too much. Invest wisely.

Be patience requires a calm condition, it is not easy to do but I agree to overcome this condition together, we must remain being calm and support each other. For those impatient people who are got stuck by fud news and panic selling, they hates this condition as they expectation too much for short time. Bitcoin has been reached this level with pass thru many years, so there nothing easy looks like.

What you mean about patient? patient for hodl or patient for bitcoin price will fall continue? But for me, if you have long term investment and you intend for not sell bitcoin in a several years yes you should hodl your bitcoin, and make your brain calm down just relax. But if you want to change your strategy, it's good for you to sell bitcoin and buy back when bitcoin in the deep price.

Whether you're patient or not it's up to you, those impatient people also has contribution in the market and we can't deny that we can't lose those types of people for our own good. Being patient indeed was a wise thing to do but a difficult thing to master on other people's perspective.

For those that are keep on spreading FUD that bitcoin is about to die because of this current price fall, get your lives people. Bitcoin has been dead since there are people who are jealous with this great tech behind it and it's popularity is widely increasing. Big countries are starting to recognize it and what we have to do when we are on these days, holding and be patient so I agree with what OP's message.

True, but there are different sorts of individuals here. I am one of those who believe in a scenario where at a given point we don't need to convert anything to fiat anymore, but just use straight Bitcoin to pay for everything. I know it has some sort of a personal bias/fantasy to it, but it's not entirely impossible. My only materialistic goal is to buy a house with Bitcoin later on.

Without hinting at any actual numbers, what is the percentage of holdings that you have cashed out and still hold? I remember having read some of your posts where you seem to be invested in precious metals as well. I am not exactly a fan of precious metals in the way they are mainly being used as, but different people different interests, which is all fine.

Of course it’s going down. It’s a classic pump and dump chart like the thousands before it.

The current valuation I think is the correct one as there is still a lot of improvements to be made in the crypto space and the December values are just crazy. Still will hold on and wait for the next big wave.
I suggest have a long term view on this values as blockchains are just getting starting to be accepted in the mainstream.

yes you are right you should be able to calm down and more patient when the price falls, if you are impatient and calm then what you get is only keruguian because influenced by other people's talk and make you sell cheap.

Bitcoin is going to rise again and holding and buying is a wise thing to do now and I love the way bitcoin and others coins prices drop because this is going to build my confidence in the markets when it rise again. I think bitcoin is going to go as higher as 25,000$ this year and if you can buy now you will be in huge profits by last quarter of 2018.

We have seen the price of bitcoin fall from $1100 to $200 so it survived that time too even with such low following, but now it's about one third of all time high and also its following have also tremendously increased from the situation in late 2013 so its obvious that bitcoin will surely survive this dip and from my experience it's performing well in this bear market as all the Altcoin are selling for way less than one third of their price and people are now afraid to invest in crypto saying that it was a bubble and it's now busted and the market is never gonna recover from this bearish fall.

You probably had three digits of bitcoin. In your case, it was right to use it, because bitcoin was intended to be a currency.

For us with only one digit, we will have to wait until we can buy houses and cars with it. That's why we hold, in the same way some of you did five years ago.

Myself I see in this bear market a opportunity to buy more. That's why people should not go all-in into crypto, for in case such crash happen, they will have spare fiat to buy more. I have 16% of exposure and I'm planning for 25% if the crash reaches 90% from previous ATH. The temptation will be too great to not buy more.

Exactly! It's something that newcomers often don't understand. Basically, you should never go all-in, because that implies missed opportunities. Even if you're okay with years-long drawdowns and losing 80% of your value, you'd be better off financially and psychologically to be more patient entering the market. Fomo usually doesn't end well.

Patience is a virtue and if you lack patience then bitcoin is not the best place for you to invest your money as we have seen ups and downs in the past but bitcoin has always survived and came out as a winner in the end so having patience and holding bitcoins is the only option at a moment and sell it when you are satisfied with the price.

that's right. 'cause only our doubts is the common  reason why we always panicked,  so we must control our emotions and think positive especially on this kind of circumstances. And besides bitcoin is a strong currencies and we already saw it fight to survive again and again.   So the decision is up to us and we are the only one who make the mmarket worst by contributing the dump. So lets sit back and relax inhale ,exhale 'cause soon it will stabilizes.

It is completely in testing mode because there are many impatient people selling their coins in the market. Positive people are waiting for their fortune to increase the bitcoin price. So waiting always gives a good return and you can benefit from it.
