The attitude of "investment advisers" around the world is starting to shift: Quote At this point, you’re probably thinking, “Come on, a cryptocurrency? Are you serious?” Yes, we really are serious. After all, investment experts are recommending Bitcoins. According to Bloomberg, Michael Novogratz, co-chief investment officer of macros funds at Fortress (FIG) Investment Group LLC, recently said at a conference: "Put a little money in Bitcoin. Come back in a few years and it’s going to be worth a lot." And he's right – the value is nothing to scoff at. Recently, a Norwegian man discovered that a $27 investment he made years ago in Bitcoins is now worth $886,000. He had forgotten all about his small investment, and he had even forgotten the private key to access his wallet. But once he was able to gain access, he was rather surprised to see what had collected in his account. Quite a difference from an infamous quip by Charlie Munger a year or so ago: "Bitcoin is a rat poison." Oh, really? Oh, really? This is the kind of thing I think about when people start rambling about how Bitcoin's inherent deflationary design is a "fatal flaw". Its only fatal to those who's livelyhood entails lending at interest, being the middleman for every major financial transaction. Who needs a loan when your crypto-currency is appreciating like mad? I sure as hell won't. Title: Re: 2013-11-01 WealthDaily: The Age of Bitcoin Post by: LiteCoinGuy on November 02, 2013, 08:06:15 PM thats almost to positive for such a site :D
