Nobody can stop this. I have read about bitcoin being destroyed by this or that entity since 2010. But you know what I have NEVER seen? A logical way to do it. Show me how and I'll be concerned. Other than controlling the Internet I can't think of any way.

I honestly think that the lack of awareness is the biggest obstacle to the growth of Bitcoin. There are the people who are scamming the world under the name of Bitcoin and it is damaging the goodwill of Bitcoin and creating a negative perception of it. The mass awareness is the only thing that could prevent users from scams going around the crypto industry. Bitcoin has grown so big that now it is the only thing that could destroy itself and we as users have that responsibility to keep it strong on the fundamental level.

There is a difference between bitcoin and other cryptos developing and the price increasing. Look at the number of new coins and ICO's and you will see the industry is developing.

Bitcoin is developing quite nicely. Lightning network is the next step and the things are advancing well. When that's done, Bitcoin will clearly become the best payment instrument.
But I think that you confuse development and price growth. And for price growth, there's more manipulation on the market even the most twisted minds cannot imagine :) so it's a much tougher issue...
