According to Cryptowat.ch Verge has spiked over 30% today.

Anyone know what's up with XVG?

An exchange hack/bug?

Something that has somehow managed to evade my radar as I can't find any juicy news about XVG.

This is a good news, is there someone in the layout, generally such situation can be followed to buy some.

I think the price increase in the given case is caused by the entrance to the market of "big money". The volumes of trades signal us about this.

Another round of pump & dump?

The XVG name has been announced a lot lately. I have heard that it has made good money for investors. but I did not.

Strongly stated. Verge (XVG) is not a shit coin, it is in Top25 Big Volume coins list on coinmarketcap.
But in fact, it does not change anything, it's the work of whales

i thinks its the partnership with token pay, that is why people are buying Verge!Sadly i sold my 5000 verge when it hits the ATH last year!haven't bought again  :(

Verge suffered from a 51% attack, somebody managed to steal millions of coins and the price spiked?!

I don't know too... IMO people are brainless. I dropped my Verge's and I don't have any plans to continue with those jokers. The 51% was due code error.

Verge is pleased recently despite the negative news and events. Keep it up!

Some people call it not a genuine 51% attack , it's because a bugs that allows someone to mine 1500 verge per second for hours , causing the market get pumped first to dump it hard later.
That's what I heard , so becareful guys who think this is a great opportunity to make an easy money , it could be a boomerang for anyone who get involved at least for now.
