Bitcoin will 20.000 and more, i think so.
That time, bitcoin will a legal currency of almost country in the world.

If it does, then maybe the last, the penultimate, and maybe a little less.

This is entirely possible, but we should stop speculating about the price of bitcoin.
Because when the lightning network is deployed, the value of bitcoin naturally rises.

.Even if it reaches $ 20000, it will be only 2.5 times returns from the current price levels. That is not very good returns and alt coins like Ripple will give better than this.

Anyone can say that, but what proof can you put on the table to substantiate what you are saying? Why are all the predictions based on the ATH of last year and not say, $30 000 or $50 000 or even $100 000? We should aim for a price that are much higher than our previous ATH, not just the same amount.

There are people who have bought in at $20 000 and they should make a profit too. ^smile^

The point is, everyone can pull an amount out of their ass and it means nothing if it is not based by facts and proof that it would happen for a specific reason.

I think that would be really great.  But it would be very easy and that is why I do not think so it will go at this scenario. should be different, then last year. So it might be go down more  and more.
Then go flat. And maybe, yes, maybe after two years will start to climb up again.

no, i disagree with you. because after all each country has its own currency that has been in the umbrella of applicable law and international law. but I believe bitcoin will grow back even though we can not currently assume the market will always grow.
I think bitcoin takes time to develop and certainly persists from various restrictions and attacks.

not 20 k usd but maybe 50 k usd before the 2018 will going to end i believe that bitcoin will reach that i have a faith that bitcoin will going to increase rapidly by november so its more good  if we buy now unti the value of bitcoin is so very small dont buy when the value of bitcoin is so high because youre too late buy now and hold it.

The future price of bitcoin will not be guessed, but I don't think it will recover in a short period of time through the recent months. I think the downturn will last for several months.

If there is any good news this year, I believe the price of bitcoin will take off.

This is a very bullish thought with lots of positivity in it, we all know that anything can happen in the crypto world, but we need to realistic, BTC will recover at a slow pace, maybe hit that price someday but not this year.

If this would happen at the end of the year, many would hold starting today. Many whales will grab opportunity as the price of bitcoin today is quite low.

You might speculate that we will cross $20,000 again, but that was the last peak and has formed a strong resistance level. It is natural tendency for people to start selling when they near that point. We will need strong drivers, supported by heavy demand for that to happen. I don’t think it will happen this year.

I think that Bitcoin will recover but we have to give it some time. People want it to increase all the time without any consequences.  They don't understand that it's not possible for Bitcoin to increase constantly.  I think that 2 months and we will be back to 20 thousand, there are so many positive news that there is no reason for Bitcoin to decrease anymore. People panic way too much

for now the price is still far from $ 20k. but did not rule out the possibility of bitcoin can grow until the end of this year.

Yes i believe that bitcoin will again rise and once again it will hit $20,000 soon but the thing is the availability of opportunities who are new to them and like now i like to buy some bitcoin and to make money from money now the prices are good a normal increase is going on and for the future this growth is also influential and good it will attract many of users.

I think that you need to improve your grammar. To be a legal currency can mean many things. It could replace fiat or just be the ultimate cryptocurrency there is. I agree that bitcoin can reach 20000 USD but the increase in price of bitcoin does not mean that the stock market will also have a huge boost. They are both dependent markets which does not depend on each other because stocks uses fiat money.

I like this scenario. I very much hope that after a long correction, Bitcoin and other currencies will again start to rise in price to new maximum values.

Bitcoin needs to have a correction period from time to time in order for the bulls to regain their strengths. We can't go directly from $1k to $1 MILLION.. I still believe we will see Bitcoin over $30k this year and also the altcoin spring(..or summer?) is coming. ;)

It is easy to dream for high valuation and think that it will make you a millionaire in a short period of time, but in reality it wont happen like this, there are many obstacle in front of us to see a valuation above hundred thousand at the end of this year, but we might see another rally which can take us back to the all time high at the end of the year if everything goes well.

It seems to me that this year we expect a large redistribution of the entire cryptocurrency market. The poor dynamics of the market provokes conflicts within the crypto community. This may contribute to the fact that we will see a lot of forks among the altcoins and the capital will start to concentrate in bitcoins. So I think bitcoin will cost $ 20,000 by the end of the year.

It is very possible price of bitcoin can be 20k usd again. So many hindrances to push this price but the market is unpredictable but we all know bitcoin possibly hit it. I think many will occur changes about bitcoin in the future.

Why can't people for once just ignore that fake peak level and focus on current (uninspired) market. It's clear that there is barely any demand justifying the market to visit anything over the $10,000 level. If we look at the frequent dumps, then it's obvious that these are not just regular dumps, but larger holders either trying to push the market down on purposely, or just legit want to cash out. Either way, there is more supply being thrown in the market than it can handle, and that will continue for a very long time, which might prove to be somewhat of a challenge for the $6000 base bottom. On the other hand, if that bottom doesn't manage to hold, then we simply said aren't worth even current levels, and thus deserve to fall down a bit further. In other words, having fiat ready to be put in action might come handy.

I wouldn't call it a fake peak, just mostly driven by FOMO and hype.
However people bought and sold at those levels. And they will do it again. It's just a question of time when it is going to happen again.
This could be in 6 months, in a year or 2 years, who knows.
Right now I agree with we still have to find a solid ground from where we can start another rally again. Until then we should use the time to accumulate more BTC or do something else beside our crypto obsession.  :D

If I say with my lust, yes I want every country in this world accept bitcoin as a currency or an asset with legal. So I can use bitcoin with dialy my life, like for payment system or send money and anything. Not like this time, I just use cryptocurrency especialy bitcoin for investment and trading only.

But if you believe or not it would be hard to be happen, some country ban cryptocurrency like my country. They believe cryptocurrency will disrupting the country's economic stability and will make the national money will disappear. I guess without regulation every country accepted cryptocurrency, bitcoin will touch price $20.000 again. Like more and more some company use bitcoin then the price will touch $20.000 and even more.

I believe that Bitcoin is still in the last phase of the correction process. I am expecting price recovery from this month and I believe that Bitcoin will not only recover but also it will hit a fresh all-time high level in this year itself. We will also see maturity in the market from this year and it will reduce the factors causing panic waves from the market.

I have no doubt that we are going to see bitcoin and 20000 dollars once again, but people need to stop giving these kind of predictions, bitcoin is not going to become a legal currency in almost every country around the world before the end of this year, that may happen in the future but it's going to take a lot of time not just a few months, this is why people get impatient and sell their coins when their predictions do not come true.

I'm still optimistic that bitcoin prices later this year will pass $ 20,000, even though the current price looks difficult to go up but I'm sure the negative trend is coming to an end and we soon see a price that reaches over $ 50,000.

The nature of cryptos are very volatile and unpredictable, we cant determine exactly when it will increase or decrease but many expert says bitcoin can bounce back again with even higher price beating the $20k last year. Still there is no certain with the predictions because it has no proof that can back up the statement however if we track the past history of btc, it always increase after dips. Bitcoin will make legal by most of the country this year? I dont think so that "most" will make it legal. Its too early for this thing but with what you've said about bitcoin getting back to $20,000 I dont have any doubt with it. And whats good is we are still far from this years end so its likely to happen earlier.

It is still possible, to be honest. Though it will undergo in a lot process before it reach that point. But given the fact that this year's Bitcoin' became much more volatile day to day. As of the moment, Bitcoin's future is still a blur so definitely to predict what could happen in the future is somehow inaccurate.

Lol. Bitcoin will not be treated as a currency in most of countries by end for this year.   I dont give even 0.01% chance for this to happen. Id just imposible. Most countries almost dont care of Bitcoin, others slowly struggle to put it somewhere.  To Bitcoin be treated as a currency in most of world could take 10 years if it will ever happen.   Keep in mind that USA and China that are biggest countries will be the least ones to treat it as a currency.  USA because that will help for USD to lose status of a world currency.  For china because that would prevent CNY to ever become a world currency.

Bitcoin will gonna adapt and legalize yes I agree with it but not as a legal currency, bitcoin will not be a legal currency because the countries will not allow it to happen, so one thing that bitcoin can do for now is to act as a Reserve in time we will all know what banks and governments are afraid of and that is people will gonna choose to have bitcoin rather than fiat.

I agree with you. I think we can see 20 000 bitcoins somewhere around 2020 to 2022. But these markets are so easy to turn, imagine ETF coming or amazon embracing lightning network. That would be huge and propel us into 20k again

Imposible for almost country will accepted bitcoin as a legal payment or trading place. Just some country who will accepted bitcoin, now government very afraid if the accept bitcoin in their country, they was see the negative impact if accept bitcoin. Consequently for some country who ban bitcoin now, in the future they should have the decision same.

What is your baseline of this prediction that its look like your very confident that it will happen? End on the year i very far so its looks like you encouraging to sell your Bitcoin now while the end of the year is far like sell it high and buy it low. For me, Bitcoin will not be a currency for the whole world and it will not be possible in just a year because not all people know how to use Bitcoin and there are countries that won't recognize Bitcoin existence so therefore it is really impossible of this speculation of yours. but anyway this is better than spreading FUD in which it will just make the market in more difficult.

I am very positive about were bitcoin is going to be in the next six months as the ratio of bullish tendency has started to increase. Bitcoin will do well from now and crossing $7,500 should be see as an opportunity to get in. $20,000 is very possible this year and I am very optimistic that this is going to happen soonest.

$20000 is my dream again for the btc that is why i invested on it.  I am positive for the major developments that may occur this coming quarters especially the 4th quarter. I hope to see lot of btc holders earn big profits once again.

$20k probably possible in short term itself if we have those institutional funds get engaged as they promised in last year. It will be really good for long term perspective too, most especially when you are working with price actions. I have been making short term moves since the market started the whole down trend and then recovered at $6000.

Achieving $20k will be depending on each individual too how they can manage themselves with holding and keep investing but without them we cannot think about to get another new all time high even institutional funds will be bumping bitcoin prices.

But by end of this year this just cant happen and even if we step into big financial crisis tomorrow. And if we have to bail out many banks. End of this year is just way to close for Bitcoin to become legal currency in majority of countries.

We are praying for this as those that jump into bitcoins' investment are getting frustrated now. We should keep on holding if we what to see more progress in days to come. No one is reaaly sure with this thing. The market value is had a rough start this year. Continuous dumps are being experienced not only by Bitcoin but most of the cryptos. Due to the volatility in the market which is now more observed. But given that the market is about to recover,we might expect of such thing to happen because things are way unpredicatable with cryptos.

This time of having of hardship to grew it's value for some reason's this bad news affecting the price. It may back to it's position to an increase price though it may slowly recover. Hence,  I am at some point confident that bitcoin may back to $20k again.

That is something that is possible and something that I expect anyway. Also, a lot of things will be changing for the cryptocurrency market as a whole to the positive, which I believe will usher in great moments for the market, but it, is all about the patience anyway. It may hit $20k, it may not, but the likelihood is possible and since we will not just remain stagnant, we can expect this to happen. With regulation being the thing we are all looking forward to, we can get to see how this would end up playing out.

There are numerous threads related to this topic on this forum speculating the prices to be $20000 or $50k by the year end but all these are mere predictions as we cant say what will happen in future as we don't have any proof for that. But still we hope that prices reach that level and being realistic the prices can reach a maximum level of $15000 by year end of 2018.

I want to completely appreciate with you because I still believe that the price of Bitcoin will reach $20,000 in the end of the year. so then most of the countries in the world will legalize Bitcoin. there is a reason for this legalizing because those countries are watching that Bitcoin is now in a trouble so called .if bitcoin able to prove its survival power and recovering power as well and reach the price of $20,000 in the end of this year ,then the countries will start believing in Bitcoin and they will able to observe the actual power of Bitcoin.

Yeah, it is a market that no one can predict the future and the thing is that none of us expected that the market would even reach that level of ATH last year, but the fact is that it did anyway.

It is a market, a lot of things can change at any point in time, that could either drive us up or drive us down, which is why a sane trader or investor would rather just blend with the market that assuming too much as at what the future is going to be holding. Whichever way, the future is bright and will always be.

As long there are still some declined and manipulations in the market there's no chance for bitcoin growth rate to increase,  and my prediction with this circumstances perhaps in the future bitcoin will not stabilize because of some causes that really affect bitcoin growth rate. So for sure in the future the price will always fluctuate again and again back to the bottom price.
