Title: We forgot the meaning of airdrops? Post by: libert19 on April 04, 2018, 04:59:44 AM Airdrop means you don't have to do anything to get token/coin.
User just has to fill up some necessary info so that project admins know this guy has participated in airdrop. What fields should be required? - Bitcointalk username - That particular coin/tokens address And to confirm authencity of accounts admins may ask user to put address somewhere in their bitcointalk profile, that's it. Now what's really happening. - make account on site. - follow and retweet on Twitter/facebook/instagram/medium - join telegram - Referral crap (yeah I suck) - thoughtful comment on Ann thread (you know what happens then) I have no problem with those tasks but they should not name it airdrop when it's clearly not. Ps: sorry if it's not serious discussion !? Title: Re: We forgot the meaning of airdrops? Post by: ActiveWizard77 on April 04, 2018, 05:03:32 AM I do agree with this. Most of them are just a crap right now. I think all of the airdrops right now asks for that requirements. And IMO, its not considered as Airdrop anymore, more like a bounty.
Plus the fact that some of them are just bogus, I have encountered an airdrop that asks for a KYC. LOL :D Title: Re: We forgot the meaning of airdrops? Title: Re: We forgot the meaning of airdrops? Post by: gogrowglow on April 05, 2018, 02:47:36 PM I encountered one project which I think is a fake. I'm done with all the task and send my referral link to all my social media account. I am waiting and expecting my airdrops and a week ago they send me email saying that to claim my airdrop award I have to have 20 of their coin in my wallet. Of course I don't have any because I am yet to claim my airdrops award. Do you think this is fair? Please anybody define airdrops for me.
Title: Re: We forgot the meaning of airdrops? Post by: Pleasuremodel on April 05, 2018, 04:47:42 PM I agree this problem apparently need to consciously regulate the original meanings of coin production tools :)
Title: Re: We forgot the meaning of airdrops? Post by: steve_rogers on April 05, 2018, 05:19:21 PM Man, it is totally not a serious discussion. At least because airdrop, itself is not a serious kind of "business". You could posted in altcoins or in off-topic treads..
Concerning airdrops, the rules will be more complicated as far people will accept them. |
