Title: where is the bitcoin price going?
Post by: vominhtri1611 on April 04, 2018, 03:29:35 PM
The price of bitcoin has rallied at the beginning of April after suffering significant losses in March, as positive news in the cryptocurrency space has encouraged investors.

The volatile cryptocurrency’s value has shifted wildly ever since mid-December - when it hit a record high of more than $19,850 (£14,214) - with frequent heavy drops and speedy recoveries. Its price plummet back to earth in January and February, as governments and central banks around the world raised the spectre of future regulation.

Bitcoin’s value plummeted again shortly before Christmas, dropping by almost $2,000 (£1,449) in just an hour at one point, and almost slipping below the $11,000 mark (£7,970).

It then bounced back, before tumbling again in mid-January, recovering again, and plummeting at the start of February before levelling out for the rest of the month.

March saw bitcoin's price drop below $10,000, reaching a low of $6,500 before rebounding above $7,000.

And now, where is the bitcoin price going next?

$600 will decide the fate of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin survives, it will be just a low level speculative asset and it's price range will be $600 to $1000

Nobody knows, it all depends on supply and demand. If more people will be buying than selling. We, at least people who hold some crypto even if not bitocin, would like bitcoin to go up because if it does we can except a lot of benefits. But if it doesn't well crap man we fked it up I guess. We just need media channels to promote the hell out of crypto, because when they do that price surge happens and it builds up fast. We need more adoption to break the 20k, I hope price move up, because of my own sake.

There are two speculations about the movement on the value of bitcoin this april. Bearish group predicts that bitcoin will go down to 5k$ while some with their exaggerated prediction that bitcoin will fall down to 2800$ to 1000$. On the other side bullish group have predicted that bitcoin will recover and go back to 8k4 towards 10k4 this month. There are many speculations and the best way to answer it is to observe the market and trust your intuition.

If you are currently watching Bitcoin prices, then you will be amazed by the rising and falling prices of Bitcoin (fluctuations). which determines the rise or fall of the bitcoin price depends on the price of the request (the person who buys) and the price of the offer (the person selling). In practical language are supply and demand.

Bitcoin reached a support level of 6800 and hit 7500 yesterday, new high.
Now that people have learned ICOs are selling ALT coins, they are slowly learning that regulations on ICOs and ICO advertising bans are not Bitcoin bans.
In fact some people still believe that China or India has banned bitcoin.
As more people learn that isn't true, BTC goes up.
As more people learn about BTC for the first time, BTC goes up.
As more people lie about a new ALT coin that will replace bitcoin, but you have to buy bitcoin to get the new fad ALT coin, BTC goes up.
As more people learn that ICOs are mostly scams, BTC goes UP and the ALT coins lose popularity.

Your words almost match what I expect to the price of 5k, but I do not think if bitcoin prices will touch that badly, if you look at the graphic shown on this site. https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/btcusd

You will see it even if you setting it to 1D or 3D you will see it and can predict from your own analysis ..

Yesterday, it managed to exit the bloodbath for the day and reach $7.450~, only for it to crash back to where it was the next day, it's currently at $6.800. I think that it's probably going to settle at $6.500-$7.500 for the next few weeks, or even months and then a serious effort of recovery will be made. The market is highly volatile right now, I am quite a pessimistic regarding anything positive due to happen in the near future.

no one knows what happens to bitcoin and nobody can predict the price of bitcoin. As I noticed in the bitcoin motion of the upper chin it seems to be a segway pattern. If you hear an important bitcoin announcement of a bitcoin lightning network I think this will be the reason why bitcoin's price is higher because I admit I'm a bitcoin's network first of all it's so slow that I prefer the ethereum network . But once it's released, the butcoin lightning network is well-stocked and bitcoin's service blockchain is fast.

It is totally disgusting about the world’s largest and number one business cryptocurrency Bitcoin. Fluctuations does not mean you bring the value very low as it is number one and its current price is very high as compared to other currencies but it is considered as low as compared to its own price. Good news are coming about Bitcoin as it has stayed at its lowest price for long time and now finally it is going to be happy with this upcoming jump.

In the next coming weeks the price of bitcoin will be consolidated around $7000. It has already reached the $6500 bottom, because of all the FUD spread in the last 2 or 3 weeks. FUD about governments banning Bitcoin, shutting down exchanges, tax issues, is keeping investors away from cryptocurrencies. But once this is over, we can expect that Bitcoin will shoot up again and reach 10K soon.

Definitely, even if it's always dipping down and sometimes it's really going to it's mid lower value I'm pretty sure that it's moving upward again and maybe it will surpass in much better and higher one. So whatever of wherever it will go there will be nothing to worry because it really moving on and reaching it's recovery again and again.

Well, the value of a thing depends on how the people value it. Truly most of all transactions or the value of  commodity depends on the principles of market and demand, the more and more people demand on every commodity and there is no enough supply to sustain that demand then the value of such commodity increases, and bitcoin is not an exception to this principles. Since bitcoin is very popular and more and more people wanted to be part of this trading,it makes the bitcoin very dependable and yet very volatile so its value and price is undetermined and cannot be predicted. However, theres a lot speculations that arises that the price value of bitcoin will increase in the coming month of june until the end of this year. But then, these are all speculation since nobody knows when will this increases in price will come. So all users, holders and enthusiast of bitcoin all you need to do is to practice patience, responsiveness, and sound judgment and soon we will be rewarded if bitcoin value increase again.

there is always the potential for technical failure, currency competition, political issues and so on. As a basic rule of thumb, no currency can be considered very safe from failure and difficult times. Bitcoin has proven to be reliable for years since its declaration and has great potential to continue growing. However, no one can predict that the future will take the side of Bitcoin.

During the last several months, bear market is at dip where most people was hoping for a bull market to happen and it did in just few days ago where it's current price value had able to reached at $8k USD mark. In my assumption,  bitcoin price is gearing towards the right direction going to upward trend that will anyhow gain potential profit to investors.

You're crazy. There's no way we can get back to 20k within a month. I could bet money on that. THere are so many support points along the way where people will want to take profit. We aren't formally out of the bear market yet, we'd have to get to 10k to be relatively safe from going back to 6k this year. We've already dropped down from 9k to 6k twice, it can happen again.

Never ever believe a price prediction (any price prediction which is defined by market). This is absolute garbage. So the guy predicted bitcoin rises in 2017.There are plenty of people out there who did that, probably tens of thousands of people. There are also plenty of analysts who got it wrong, saying it goes down in 2017,but you'll never hear about them, because no one cares. It's 50/50 chance of predicting the direction right, that doesn't mean he is somehow smarter than any other analyst.Nassim Nicholas Taleb would probably call journalists writing about this analyst's lucky prediction morons.

As we all understand that the crypto market is unpredictable and volatile it will be wrong for one to actually say how the market will be in coming days, prediction is simply based on speculations. let keep optimism high why we try and manage the way we speculate about the strength of the market.

The price of bitcoin going to be high than now but the increasing of his price to be more than 20000$ need many years
What an exaggerated opinion tho.
We can't say for sure that bitcoin's price reaching $20,000 would be a very long wait but it is still possible again to reach it this year. Considering all the pump and dump that it will face along the way but still, slowly and surely, we should be able to reach that ATh again from last year.

Personally, I am inclined to the fact that the cryptocurrency market has already developed. Today, bitcoin broke through the rising wedge and the next resistance level is between 8600 and 8800. Think, that can be a short the correction altcoins, and then again growth.

First of all, this should be in Speculation board of the forum as this is not a Bitcoin Discussion, but a discussion of its value.
Second, the value rose to the most important level of 7500 and has crossed it. Still, many big players are calling a correction that might take place once their stops are hit at $9k. I believe we are in the midst of a big war between the bulls and bears to decide where this market will be heading in May - as May used to be the month of sideways but this time it looks like a surge may come in the markets.

Bitcoin price is very volatile. Price can go up or down in just minutes. Negative or positive news also affects the price. But for now bitcoin is still going strong and will rise steadily as long as no fake news will come out again. Lots of manipulators want to buy cheap so they also try and control the market

Right now, who knows. This might be a pump and dump scheme so we cannot start jubilating about the price recovering just yet. It is most likely to go back down again so I am not very hyped up about the prices going up but I like this green market. The bear market has been absolutely brutal and having to check the charts and my portfolio has been very hard.
Bitcoin is still trading in a low price we are in fact expecting much more high price from bitcoin, Therefore  bitcoin is expected to increase too much may be more that 50000$ in next few months.

I believe that bitcoin will soar to greater heights in the coming months to come. Currently, bitcoin is at $8.9K where it's price had drastically increased for almost 25% since it had dip last time at $6.7K USD. This will be a good news for the investors of bitcoin since they will be expecting more in the coming months to come. Bitcoin will make a bull run within the year and definitely a big expected rise will happen this year where my assumption it could reached more than $20K by Q4 of this year.

When BTC was $0.06 and if someone would have even told it would hit $1000 in the next few years, he/she would have been laughed at ...
$100,000 - $150,000 is likely to happen if all the Alts do well too and there wouldn't be much scamming around by fake ICO's and governments trying to regulate or centralize them.

Bitcoin price will never drop in your expectation because this is the most promising platform so this will reach 25k USD in this year. But some peoples are negative thoughts in Bitcoin so you should not understand the potential of Bitcoin. If you trust the Bitcoin your future career is supporting to crypto platform.

In 2 months, there are 170,000,000 less visitors at "Coinbase"
Bitcoin price soon touch $20000 again, It can take time of 1 month or more for reach $20000
I am still convinced that bitcoin prices could touch $ 20,000 in the foreseeable future and now bitcoins are on a slow recovery and will continue to reach this year's highs.

Bitcoin is recovering and price will go higher at the market sooner. If only we will hold our cryptocoins longer especially at top cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and top altcoins like ethereum, a huge waves of price rise at the market will occur. As a matter of fact as years goes by bitcoin are gaining and become more valuable.

Well, the value of a thing depends on how the people value it. Truly most of all transactions or the value of  commodity depends on the principles of market and demand, the more and more people demand on every commodity and if there is no enough supply to sustain that demand then the value of such commodity increases, and bitcoin is not an exception to this principles.

The loudest forecasts for this year were, it's "reaching $ 50,000, but with it it will touch $ 5000, it just happens first unknown" We see that one of the forecasts almost happened, but that does not mean that now it is rapidly pumping upwards . I think in the next couple of months, there may be fluctuations, and the return to 6000, possibly lower, but by July, the rise, peak will reached it's october-november.

Yes.That would be very possible to hit if there will be less of fuds and negative news that will come along.Bitcoin has a bright and great future ahead, and investing in it even for a long term is really worth the wait.

Prices have recently dropped to 4 for 5 months. The Crypto took a lot of money from the money market and the prices hit the bottom.
I'm sure prices will rise again, I need to be patient.

This is an interesting topic that nobody can logically explain.
Many people consider it as a scarce valuable thing like some old post stamp and if we keep on to this logic - the price can go to millions. But if one understands that it is just one of uncountable number of possible computer codes that can be written any day - it should not go very far in a long run and should get to some reasonable level eventually.

Bitcoin price is heading towards $60000 mark within this year slowly and steadily I would say. The current trend of Bitcoin is amazing and it is moving in a steadfast manner to achieve its goal. The current trend is a healthier one and out of crypto world people cannot comment anything negative on Bitcoin price now with its high volatile price in the past. I think the Bitcoin and other crypto currency market as a whole has started its bullish run couple of weeks before and as I said earlier it would stop on the highest price goal and start it's correction post achieving the goal.

For now bitcoin is still low price but where the market will go after i am not sure but for long term it will goes bullish.
When we think the price goes lower, better to hold and  buy back in low price so we can have double profit.

If you noticed that there is a cycle of price taking place every year in Bitcoin but this time, big whales and institutional investors joined the game and poured a huge amount of capital and as the price reached an all-time high level, they decided to exit and then we saw the correction in the market. I believe that the price will start recovering from this month and I also believe that we will see a fresh all-time high level in this year itself. I am bullish on price in short as well as in super long term.

Buddy if we look for the present scenario the valuation is quite deflating though the valuation is quite good in the last months of 2k17 and this new year is not so good for bitcoin so the valuation is quite flactuating in this business year but not to worry, the pump and dump is the very rule of every investment so things will go good after sometime.

It is difficult to predict the rate of bitcoin.
I do not exclude that the cryptocurrency market will change, will be transformed into a new entity, but it is likely to happen not in the next year or two. And so it is still not too late and, moreover, it is worth to dive into the topic of cryptocurrency, learn to work with it and make a profit right now! My prediction is bitcoin exchange rate in 2018 is definitely the growth and renewal maximums up to $50 000 — $100 000 at least!

The valuation of bitcoin is that much high that it gives profit to millions of people but the last three months was not that much good for bitcoin the valuation was low but now the current statistics suggest that the valuation is started inflating from last week and I guess it will further increase more.

bitcoin prices go is actually not going but rather does not fit what we think, bitcoin price or market price of coin can not be guessed or predicted exactly and itself depends on us who must be smart to arrange where time when we buy and where at the time when we sell with high market prices and low market prices and that too depends on each of us as well.

At the moment it is stabilising at around $9000 and most institutional investors believe that this is the new floor. Throughout may it will remain bullish and break the $10,000 barrier which will push it back up to the all time high.

And now, where is the bitcoin price going next?
We will have to observe general market sentiment, pay attention to the news and roadmap of bitcoin-related events.
May is very important - some really interesting conferences are planned: https://www.bitcoinmarketjournal.com/conferences/ (https://www.bitcoinmarketjournal.com/conferences/)
Other than that - there is no way of telling what future will bring to us, one is almost certain - this is not the end of road or us.

It's hard to keep track of the Crypto market. Nobody predicted that prices would fall this much. They took millions of dollars of money from a maret. For this reason the prices are very low.
Now the prices are starting to rise. Good opportunity for investors.

The value of bitcoin has seen significant gains over the last week, ... If it continues its good form, it could break above $10000 in the coming days

And now, where is the bitcoin price going next?

after $7,000, bitcoin price will approaching to the $10,000. this is because bitcoin was falling too much at the beginning of the year.
You should buy bitcoin now before it hit $10,000. now only around $9,000 on the exchanges.

If the supply and demands of bitcoin will soar high then its value will soar high also. And since lately at month of April we have seen times that Bitcoin is going up which gives us a sign for recovering after its fall.

If it can stay over 10k I think it should hit 20k by 2019. The btc futures market price was around 20k and I feel like it has to eventually get back to it (considering how much institutional money is invested at this point)

of course bitcoin prices can not be assured in the future with the consideration of a short time period we see only the number of bitcoin development per year if we see per day or per month I think too early to see the value or price bitcoin make investors lose

No one can guarantee that bitcoin prices will continue to rise or fall, this is because bitcoin embraces a decentralized system that makes it all depend on the market, the biggest challenge today is the number of banned bitcoin countries that make bitcoin development difficult.

You are right that bitcoin rise and fall is all about market demand getting high and low, when demand increases than the availability then price increases itself but when supply gets higher than demand price decreases, but no worries its very common happen, as much bitcoin price is increasing it is very clear soon we will see price pumping very high, people are showing keen interest for bitcoin investment so price will surely get high this month.

the factor that causes its value to fall is the two largest bitcoin markets in china announced it will setop bitcoin operation at the end of september.tak long after china prohibit bitcoin transactions in the country, the virtual currency exchange rate immediately fell to the range of US $ 2,900 or Rp 38 million. And this happens in just 3 days.

Now we need to rely on bitcoin, because it is now at the same time and unstable, but at the same time rises well in price, so I believe this cryptocurrency, and you can invest in this coin.

The price of Bitcoin is increasing slowly and steadily after suffering from a price fall from quite some time. The volatile cryptocurrency had reached almost $20,000 in 2017.After this its price has been falling. The price of Bitcoin also depends upon the forces of demand and supply. It also depends upon how much the investors are investing in it.I think it will again touch new heights. Its volatility is the reason why it is so famous in today's date.

There is no definite answer. Today it's up, tomorrow is down. Miners are constantly mining new bitcoins and selling them for dollars to cover their costs. They create a constant down pressure on  the price. For the moment, the miners just seem to be winning from the investors.

Bitcoin is really unpredictable. We should always expect the worst but hope for the best. For me, it's better to focus on increasing the amount of BTC that you have, regardless of it's value in USD. And just hold it for a while. Wait til the value of BTC reached the amount that you think is enough before you touch it. That way, you will never have losses. Patience is, indeed, a virtue in cryptocurrency.

The market is experiencing a dip in bitcoin's price as of the moment. But its price will rise in the coming months. In fact, most crypto expert predicts its price to go more than $50,000 before the end of the year.

Currently Bitcoin is already priced at $ 9,000. Probably not for much longer or about a week away. Bitcoin will be priced at $ 10,000. But it depends of the outstanding issues in the market, if it's a negative issue then the Bitcoin price will stay there or it may be down, if it's a positive issue then it's not impossible Bitcoin price will keep moving up and I'm sure if this positive issue goes ahead then prediction that at the end of this year Bitcoin will break the $ 30,000 to $ 40 mark, will be realized.

We can't really accurately predict or even more so tell where bitcoin's price would be going in this month or for the rest of the year. What's posdible though is giving a hypothesis based on plausible evidences and proofs and letting bitcoin tell us the result. And based on collective hypotheses by some bitcoin enthusiast and even critics, bitcoin might reach 20,000$ again by the year end

Likewise now there are so many volatility in bitcoin price. We dont know when the price will pump and dump. But surely the price will increase in near future. The pump and dump are normally happens in the crypto world. So if you have coins just keep on holding till the price touches the moon.

It’s really difficult to tell. None knows what will happen. It’s somehow depending upon the persons who are selling and buying it. Moreover it also depends on the supply and its interest. We just can imagine of it but not accurately say. We can look over the statistic of its growing. It can say something.

We need not to worry about the end prices of the bitcoin or the fate of bitcoin by the end of this year because it is going to be awesome. We need to understand that the market is highly volatile and anything could happen anytime. Neither these decreased values are forever nor the coming high graphs will last forever. I believe that crypto market is the game of hitting the iron at the right time when it is red hot.
