How many of you started mining (solo) ?

there was no premining, i found the first block :-) . Only with wallet . After 40 Blocks my wallet was to slow, to find a block

What to expect if mining solo with cpu i5 4 core? ???

approx. 10+ coins per day with current diff

about $0.000000000000000000000000000001 worth of coins per year. Anything that can be asic mined is not worth mining in any other way unless you were the first miner and then only for about 10 -15 seconds once other miners get on it. Or have access to free hardware and power and even then i would say just mine a cpu only coin like quark.

For starters fix the coin supply.

why is the difficulty so low?

It's depend on the network hash rate. as per this coin's nature difficulty retargeted on every block. this will protect the low speed miners from coin hoppers. so that i mentioned this coin is for CPU-GPU & Asic users.

What's the name all about, I tried singing it to the Muppets Munamanan tune just in case it was for that and and it "almost" worked  :D ;)

NaanaYaM, the name comes from Tamil Language. It's one of the ancient language, 50000+ yrs old one. NaanaYam means trust or trustworthy. this's mentioning a persons trust or trustworthy in ancient ages. after that in the metal age tamils created coins for transactions at that time they use the same word for that coin. Thanga-Naanayam (gold coin) and Velli-Naanayam(silver coin).

So that am also using the word "NaanaYaM" for this coin.

Try to pronounce Naa-Na-Yam.

1million joshi = 0.01(call this as velli or velli-nanayam)(silver coin)
100 velli = 1 NaanaYaM [NYM]

Pool site is unbelievably slow.

Which part of the world are you from?

It's working fine with actual speed in South Asia.

US. Central.

Takes 30 seconds to load a page.. They do load, but it's a pain.  Especially when I'm not sure where things are located, and the widgets end up timing out or never loading.

Dev, It seems I have to divide transaction amount by 100 to get the right amount sent. So to transfer 100 NYM it have to type 1.00 in the box.

Guess this coin died with coinedup. Pity, it was fun using my crappy little 0.333GH/s USB stick to solo mine.
