Title: Investing in Crypto VS the Peer to Peer
Post by: worldtraveller321 on April 06, 2018, 07:38:49 AM
Just a good topic to consider. I know its been discussed before.

Since Bitcoin was created for to be used as a Peer to Peer currency system etc
seems more that cryptocurrency is used for more the investing aspect on value with FIAT

Really I ask, when did this concept start with using crypto to invest to get more FIAT

Why Did it happen this way?

What started having that value ? crypto into FIAT

I know in some small places or cases it is being used as a currency eg Venezuela etc.

anyways hope to hear some good responses.

The impact of blockchain technology on the peer to peer lending market will inevitably be positive once the technology matures to an extent where it can be implemented within the peer to peer lending (P2P) platforms. Cryptocurrency investing, where assets are built using blockchain technology, has, however, had an impact on the wider investment market, not just specifically P2P.

I think it started from the day bitcoin was created. Those who bought bitcoin in 2010 or 2011 didn't buy bitcoin as a something to use it when they want to shop.
As the price is determined by supply and demand and it is too volatile, it is normal.

why do people trade in Forex, which is basically exchanging currencies with each other and making profit, same as trading bitcoin with other currencies and making profit?
you see when there is an opportunity to make profit, there will be some people who will take advantage of that. when it comes to bitcoin, since it is still in early stages and it is only rising in long term and also has a very volatile price in short term there are even more traders interested in making a larger amount of profit from this opportunity.

Bitcoin users use or use bitcoin as an investment for more money, and indeed bitcoin is the best investment place to earn money faster.

Bitcoin did really start off as a peer to peer but since there are no merchants that are willing to accepts bitcoin it evolved and was placed inside exchanges as an object of trading and investment. But we cannot blame bitcoin for that since bitcoin was not a flaw but rather the community is not yet ready for bitcoin to be on the mainstream.

Well that is because most people don't view crypto or Bitcoin as real money yet. Couple that with the fact that most altcoins are useless beyond speculation and you have a situation ripe for trying to obtain more Bitcoin which is obtaining more fiat. Only once major players start accepting Bitcoin will that narrative change from hoarding to usage. I personally look forward to that day, but I know many people won't spend it until it reaches 6 figures.

Actually bitcoin was created to facilitate peer to peer transactions.Since it is a decentralized currency and hence there was no way for either government or banks to know about the transaction,it attracted the attention of drug sellers and dark markets. They started to widely use it for transactions which increased its demand which in turn increased its price. This slowly started attracting the attention of normal people. And now, people started to treat it as a return giving asset and stopped it to use as payment. This was the turning poit in the history of bitcoin making it as the highest return giving asset of this century.
