New hedge funds in the crypto markets are being created. According to The Financial Times "there has been a rise in newly-developed hedge funds focused exclusively on digital currencies."
Solidus Capital exists in Mexico, Andreessen Horowitz of Silicon Valley is starting one, Mike Novogratz (previous fund manager for Fortress Investment Group) is raising money for the world's largest one yet... How much will they grow and start manipulating the markets? Many focus on ICOs and new tokens, will they be able to conduct major pump and dumps? Or are these hedge funds just adding to the growth of the crypto markets? What do you guys think? |
