Title: $0.272/GH in the last 24hrs: do I have this right?
Post by: BTCetera on November 07, 2013, 07:32:33 AM
Taking the last 24hrs stats* from https://blockchain.info/stats (https://blockchain.info/stats)

Total Miners Revenue = $1,190,882.52
Hash Rate = 4,368,534.27 GH/s

I understand that, globally, miners made an average of $0.272 per GH, in the last 24hrs. Do I have this right?!

*numbers which naturally will change soon, but right now are as follows

If you invest in the hardware, time to make it work and maintain your mining setup, pay for your internet access and electricity, why wouldn't you.

Are you implying that people shouldn't have a right to invest their time and money and expect a return?

I am implying nothing. WISIWYG.

If anything, this shows the revenue from mining (27 cents per GH in the last 24hrs) isn't enticing enough for me.
