As of january 2018, the eth price reaches its peak for about $1000, but it is very opposite as of now. The price of ethereum keeps dropping every week. Is it possible that ethereum will soon reach $200 for this market bloodbath?

I think it is going to take some time before ETH is increasing in value again (there are a lot of bad news atm, which engages people to sell).
Hopefully it will reach $200 so that we can buy us silly and then wait for it :')

There certainly is potential for that to happen. I believe that the current pressure that's haunting prices isn't alleviating in a sense that could help markets recover. So far, I believe ethereum has gotten the most pressure out of all alts so I think there's more to give from its market.

very sad to see the current condition, but I hope this just cycle course, the price will be back at the pump. I'm sure the middle of this year the price will go back to where it should be.  :)

I think $ 300 is Ethereum's lowest price limit if it reaches $ 200 then it's already at the lowest price threshold and will certainly make people panic and will sell their assets so Dump happens.

the experts have been speculating the real value of ethereum to be somewhere below $100 so i guess it is reasonable to assume that price will fall down to $200 and lower still as the dumping continues and the panic sellers start up their dump soon.

Ethereum reaching $200 will be a good opportunity to invest in ethereum by then I will buy more ethereum and hodl for a long time and wait for the price to go up and sell to make a lot of gains from your little investment and risk taking. After bitcoin the next coin I trust most is ethereum because ethereum serves as the mother of all alt coins so it on the ethereum network that all other coin operates and this give the ethereum more chance over the market.

ETH is just following bitcoin's steps going down. If bitcoin could stay on it's price, surely ETH would moon. If it reach the 200$mark then it's time to buy, it's bitcoin dump that is why we are seeing this bloodbath happening.

Hoping that such things do not happen else it will crash the complete market and people will disappear and may not even comeback and buy because many would have burnt their hands till than and those invested at high price will just sell and vanish form the market which is not what is required.

I hope that this does not happen. I'm going to feel terrible because I bought a lot of eth 900 dolors apiece. And I hoped that he would still grow.

this is a blood war, we do not know that eth will go down. very unfortunate if he declined from the beginning of this year. everyone is very sad and disappointed with the decline in eth prices. I think the declining factor of eth price is caused by our own. we can see a lot of who sell eth, it becomes a big impact of the decline in eth prices. we can only hope for a stable eth price for now.

Nothing is impossible it can happen if the current market persist and bad news keep popping out in the media. If it eventually get dip to that amount, it is a good opportunity to buy more.

I wish it does :) and possible a alot of people around are waiting a mass price drop from ETH to invest. But imagine other alts when ETH reaches $200? Most of the altcoins are using ETH platform. So all of them will be affected and you may consider buying a couple of alts from the dip instead ETH...

I dont decline that may it will reach 200$ but ethereum is the best invesment option for long term run . See the potentiality of coins most of ICO happening now based on ethereum blockchain . Most of the token trading based on ethereum blockchain . Even some countries like Russia trying to adopt ethereum technology to create their own coins.

Agree, If ETH hasn't reached the bottom 300 would be it. We have a long line of support at 300. I don't believe we will reach that level (at least any time soon), but if we do I would assume it wouldn't stay there for long (as long as price drop isn't relative to BTC or if some black swan event were to happen)

Yeah it may cause a massive panic selling, but as you see there is so much support for ETH just like BTC. Just look how many tokens it has, for sure it will recover just like bitcoin.

I don't think ETH will reach 200$. Because ETH is stable 350$-400$ at this moment. When ETH pump, Panic sellers will dump again. I think ETH will be raised soon.

I think it will not now market moving towards bearish some more fall may happen because of lots of bad news but hope soon it will recover . Once marketcap start to increase ethereum will be the big winner after bitcoin .So just grab as much you can while price is cheap.

For now no one can really predict the market, everything seems confusing as of the reason for the drop, some speculations said it is because of government but my observation some few years back, it has always been a drop in the general market as of 1st quarter. Lets see how it goes.

I do not rule out the fall of Eth prices. Acne has long been said that he was not interested in the value of the coins. He is not interested even miners. To be honest i would be surprised to see Ethereum drop to $200 because it would be something that hurts the crypto a lot. It’s much worse than bitcoin dropping below 5k because Ethereum has a great effect on alt coins because most of them are based on Ethereum. I hope we will see market recover soon.

reaching 200$ per coin is possible because of the down trend we are in nowadays.. it would be really scary for investors if it has reached that level, it might take a lot of time to get back to the up trend. but! generally its possible but i dont think so! Summer is coming, profits are coming!

As far as panic sellers continue to dump, I think ethereum will even lower than $200 in the coming days, it'll be so surprising tho, but at the same time it's another opportunity for me to buy more to my portfolio and wait for the next pump.

with the way they are dumping ETH, i have to admit $200 seems easily possible! although we should not forget that ethereum is centralized and the ethereum foundation is staring to fear for their future so they may soon start to pour a lot of money into this coin even if it means burning it all and wasting the money to prevent the huge crash that is awaiting it.

For me, There is a big possibilities that it will reach this $200 mark if the social media like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google site will start banning the Crypto currencies advertisements because most of the ICO specially the new projects will be affected. If this will going to happen for sure the demand for the Ethereum will going to reduce making the price to possibly reach that $200 mark.

I think no, i believe there will be a bull market in this year, and i feel that whales are accumulating right now.

If bitcoin fall not stop here and it drop further then all altcoins also dropped more then bitcoin drop and ethereum also follow that trend. Ethereum price depends on whole market trend and if market revive from here then it is not possible but if more bad news comes in the market then it can go anywhere.

If market continues to falls then we are hitting $200 soon. But I guess it's all connected to bitcoin price fall down. I hope this Q2 will be alts season so everyone's happy.

I have a question for you. What will you do if the price starts to rise? Selling all your coins? But how will you do that if the price increases? Then the next fall in prices will begin and history will repeat again. I think you need to change your tactics. Holding ceases to be relevant. Now it will be only the actual trading.

At this rate, we will soon reach 300USD but I do not think people will sell Ethereum as low as 200 USD if they buy at 1000 USD or more but it might be possible. Personnally I think 300usd will be the bottom for Ethereum and 6000 usd for bitcoin.

I think it's a shame ETH is dropping this hard. Few months back most of the sentiment was about when ETH would reach 2k.....

The market is in a very bad position now because of some bad news circulating around at this time. But I am sure when it will get settle market will start to recover soon. 200$ not looks possible at this time maximum it will go down will be 300$ I think after that is will start to recover.

I totally agree with you here and hope that you are correct. I do not want to see the Ethereum price below 300 or there will be even more panic stations. Already we are seeing the demise of the altcoin and Bitcoin markets with a 90% crash rate from the previous all time highs, so seeing it go and crash to 200 USD will make everyone lose total heart and confidence in this market, then only some big whales will have the funds to scoop up all the cheap ETH, those clever ones who sold everything and become rich in the previous boom.

I thought this was a very old thread when I first see the subject. ETH has a good base over 350 USD, I don't think it will break down there again. There is a strong support and Ethereum is still the most used altcoin. Every ICO collect money with ETH, their tokens are based on Ethereum's smart contract. I wouldn't expect that kind of move.

We can't be sure there is chance. No one can really predict the price of crypto currency. With some bad news FUD spreading some people panic and do exit in crypto and causes this crash in price. But this is a big opportunity to buy more and hold. But for me I think it will not go down as 200$, 300$ flat maybe.

It can happen, if this happens it will not be the end of the world. When price will start growing ehtereum back, maybe no to 1000 dollars but over 500 dollars for sure. So it is no bad information, do not panic

Yeah it will happen if this correction be held in a few month ahead. Maybe just need one regulation from a country who ban cryptocurrency eth will go to $200. Now the price ethereum $360, need $60 to price touch $200, we will see that it will be good for me if ethereum touch $200. I think it will not drop at $200 dollar because it is already at its lowest. In my own opinion ethereum price will not drop below $300. I now buy some ethereum at its present price because I believe this is the right time.

This crypto market will continuously going down day by day. Values of all coins are dropping. If the whole market will going down then ethereum will follow the market trend and fall down and it is possible it will go down to $200.

I don't think ETH will get below 300$, on technical analysis there is very strong level and the bulls will fight strongly for it! This is completely possible and I would not be surprised if this happened in the near future. The plethora of bad news on a regular basis(Example: Recent India ban) is hurting the crypto market badly and every coin including Bitcoin is falling rapidly. Its like the haters are afraid that the market might rally again in this month just like last year which is why they are attacking the market constantly without showing any signs of slowing down. However, Ethereum still does possess great potential which is why I recommend HODLING for big profits in the future.

It seems impossible to me, it would logically mean that the market cap would be divided by 2 (no reason for ETH to fall alone) and it seems totally impossible. I think it will never go under $300 again and will soon go up again. It's still one of the biggest projects on the market, don't forget.

I think it strongly depends on the success rate of near future ICOs. The main reason of Ethereum's growth last year was great results of those time's ICO. But right now it's bad period for new projects, so people need much less Ethereum that it used to be.

Well, it is possible it reaches $200, but many may be surprised if it stops dumping beyond $300. Those who are waiting for a price as low as that might be caught unawares, because it will be a big surprise if Ethereum keeps pumping instead of dumping further. Let's even take a look at this, dumping or pumping of prices is not automatic, it comes through our influences, the influence of traders. So, by the time we stop dumping the ETH we have, it will pump further.

It shouldnt because if that happens,most of these promising ICOs that has potentials will fail,even if these projects are going to be massive! the market will collapse if bitcoin and ethereum is going to fall below each current support levels,but it is very morelikely yo happen as far sa i can see with my technical analysis it really can but lets hope i am wrong  :-\

It might reached that level if bitcoin's value will stil fall below its current support levels,so prepare for the worst expect more dumps in the market as we are still in a bearish trend that drives most of these investors to pull their money out from the cryptocurrency market ,as far as i can see there are less chances that bitcoin is going to recover sooner or later so it means these altcoins are going to drop to the bottom.

Theoritically it is very possible when bitcoin will fall below $4k or worst $3k ethereum might dropped its price exponentially! but if you are going to risk it in ethereum there will be no doubt you will make a lot of money when the whole market has recovered from these bloody markets,wait for the market to stabilize buy more when it dips so you wont be affected too much by these market manipulations.

I think it can even go lower than $200. A lot of ETH is locked up in ICO's and needs to be sold one day to finance that projects.

Worst case scenario would be $100 that is why we need to get ready to whats going to come,a lot of investors are pulling their money out of our market becaue they are going to lose a lot money if they dont,that is why the market is continously dumping because someone is dumping thousands of bitcoins in the market causing the whole market to fail.

Yeah, it is very possible that eth will reach 200$ or even below. the current market tells me eth can easily get there but the good thing is that the prices of all crypto will rise together again and as was predicted, cryptocurrency market will again increase this year. Why is it still late, the investors are taking your monies and soon they'll start selling to you expensively the same coin they bought from you cheaply. Get yourself a coin to hodl.

Yes and that's why it most probably can happen. I'll explain my point of view. As you could notice ICOs are being under pressure during the last few months. But even if you ban ICOs in one country they can move to another. So the best way to defeat ICOs is to make them unprofitable. And the only way to reach it is to dump the market to the very bottom.

If bitcoin will crush to 3000$-etherium will cost 130-150$,I know it  looks now unbelievable but in crypto anything is possible and as we can see the downtrend is very clear so I would stay away from buying etherium in near couple of months.

But as what i see the cheapest price of this will no go lower than 300.
And if possible, it will rise at the same time that bitcoin will.

no one know what will happen of course. but this declining is caused by the incident in India where issue that banks don't accept crypto refunds. this incident makes many traders in India in panic sells. but fortunately the prices still don't go down deeper.
so then I believe ETH won't reach $200.

Thats not the worst it could go down below $100 that is why we need to be vigillant everytime so that we wont lose a lot of money ,because these market manipulation will not stop until most of the people are selling in panic,because that is what they want the whole community to panic so that they can buy a lot of cheap coins in the market.

Yes possible to happen that is why we need to wait for some more dip so we could maximize the profits when everything is already backed up,most of the big investors have pulled out their money that is why the market is bleeding too much but we dont need to worry because these people are waiting for bitcoin to recover so that they can safely put their money back into these altcoins.

I bought ETH in at late January and did come in to make money, but have been struggling ever since to make a profit. I'm still here though, I think I'm down around 30% from my total investment, but it hasn't deterred me and I will be buying when things go south this weekend, which in my limited experience, is going to happen.

I believe that some powerful people and institutions would like to see BTC and ETH price as low as possible. They want to protect their positions and existing financial system and to prove that crypto currencies are useless. The question is how powerful they are. They are using their influence in media, governments and financial institutions to attack crypto currencies. It is possible that ETH price will reach 200 USD but I hope that won't happen.

I don't think that's gonna happen, though no one really knows what's gonna happen tomorrow. It is possible after all and such course of events.

I presume yes,based on the curren situation in the market,bitcoin's moments and ethereum's support levels if these levels will be broken that is the reason why it would fall below $100 or worst,that is why we need to protect ourselves,set some cut loss so that you wont lose a lot if anything happens to ethereum or in bitcoin.

Bitcoin has dipped all the way down to 6k from its top of 20k and along with it, bitcoin has dragged every other alt including ethereum along with it. If bitcoin keeps of dropping in USD value alts will keep on following the dump and ETH might even drop below 200USD. Personally I will buy some ETH then, it would be the first ETH I would have ever bought also.

Ethereum's current situation can look like a bloodbath, but I don't think that this is totally a disaster.

In my opinion, everything is possible for every coin in the cryptocurrency world, but I think ethereum is a really strong and promising coin, which has a great potential for the future.

This looks unpredictable, we just hope it's not going to happen because this is going to weak the crypto market. Although, am optimistic that the market will soon heal for sure.

why not ? the market is still in bearish movements as far as i can see it can go back to $100 each that is why we need to cut loss when it fall below our hard support so we need to secure our investments first or else we are going to lose a lot.I suggest do not risk all of your money into a coin which doesnt have any good volume as of the moment most of the investors are in bitcoin.

It's hard to imagine ETH at $ 200, but if bitcoin keeps falling then ETH will go down to $ 300 without hesitation

But I don't think we will see it that low. 300$ is the lowest that can get in my opinion.

That is not the worst case because ethereum could fall below $100 each that is why it is risky to invest to ethereum as it isnt yet the bottom,but if you are good with its current position you should start buying now or else you could lose a big opportunity to get those coins in cheaper prices,Dont rely to speculations but rely to your technical analysis just to be sure what will possibly happen.

Possible,and it could happen whenever bitcoin's value will still fail few hours or days from now,that is why we need to set cutlosses with each coins that we are holding so that less damages will be received from the market manipulations,keep holding your coins when you are trapped buy more from the dips when you still have some spare bitcoins with you.

i dont think it is possible. because most of the altcoins are already in their deepest posint and change on bitcoin price do not affect to them anymore. And moreover etehreum is the major altcoin that provides technology to many other projects. so if it drops that much it might be a disaster for all crypto market.

Ethereum is one of the coins I trust most. This drop is surprising me. Ethereum to the general decline in the market gave a big loss.

Based on my technical analysis,if bitcoin's going to fail further most of the altcoins including ethereum will fail,expect worst because the last hard support of ethereum would be in $100 which was the previos resistance since it was pumped last year.But i can assure that ethereum would be a better investment compare to the other shitcoins,because ethereum can always recover from these bloody market because it has some good platform which others dont have.

Is Ethereum price gonna reach $200 ? this is a question worth thinking of, the price of Ethereum hit almost $1400 this year and when the market bleeding started ETH initially was very stable but the sudden turn of event was surprising as ETH losses it's value so,guickly. Based on all that it will be very hard for one to doubt the possibility of ETH reaching $200.

I'm still in relax condition and I'm not gonna go to panic mode because it happens all the time here sometimes go down and sometimes go up for me I'm gonna wait until the end of this year and see and my prediction is it will increase it to $1k.

Today Eth is trading at 380 USD, I don't think Eth will go down to 200 USD but if it does fall down to 200 USD I will start accumlating it as you can't get any better opportunity to buy at such cheap rate. The only currency who has the potential to cross BTC is Ethereum, as experts declare it as a better version of BTC.

I would not doubt that. It took time before it even got to that ATH last year, and with the way things have been before, I would not doubt anything right now. $200 will be a very good bargain and a sweet one to watch out for to load up for the next leg up and even though it does not sound like something that could happen.

The truth is that even less than $400 few months ago would not have seem likely, so with that, anything is definitely possible as ETH is inflationary but we also have to understand that if there is a huge demand for it, and if the market bounces back, then we should see it probably back to its feet.

Also, we hovered around $300 to $400 for a very long time, so going way lower may not seem like it, but it is the crypto world, and anything is possible. I don't beleive that ETH will drop down to 200 ever again. The use of this tokens and based of the demands and supply I could say that this coin can retain its value. Yes the price decrease significantly and I'm sure that the market will take sometime before it could recover but I'm certain that 200 is too far.

Well, there is a possibility for this to happen; however, from when I started venturing this market, I have to also learn that anything is possible. Therefore, as much as it may go down, it also have equal chances to go up in value. I still believe in the capacity and capability of Ethereum to rise up. It has been one of those reliable and good coins in the market, and the support it gets from people is still intact more or less, so that would certainly help in keeping the coin still afloat. If it reaches that low, then I would say that that's the perfect time to buy. On the other hand, if it will start to increase, then the long awaited time to dispose the coin for a return would be closer than expected.
