Title: Is there anyone know, how mining with Nvidia GTX 950M effective Post by: thenguyen81 on April 06, 2018, 10:32:22 AM I am a newbie miner and are learning with my card "Nvidia GTX 950M" available
I tried to test ETN : 1. install CUDA tookit 2. install driver for my card 3. use tool : xmr-stak-win64 (for testing only) Wonder...how efficient mining...because it was 30-50H/s I saw this : https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/14669/howto-efficient-mining-ether-with-nvidia-gpu-windows-10-uptodate-drivers But my problem is : I can not open nvidia-smi.exe (just shut down immediately after startup)... I re-installed a few driver version for NVIDIA GeForce GTX such as : 353.62; 381.65; 391.35. <- can not open also. So I was stuck there...what should i do ? I do not suggest mining on mobile cards due to the lack of good cooling.
If you really want to try mining ETN, make it simple : This is what I would do. Use this pool etn.spacepools.org Download ccminer Follow the instructions on the pool website to configure your card and go. You're only wasting time and losing money on this.
