Title: Verge (XVG) network down?
Post by: Balcanis on April 06, 2018, 02:10:56 PM
Hey guys,

It seems like as of yesterday or the day before I can't connect to any Verge (XVG) pool (AntMine or CoinFoundry, didn't try others). Is the actual XVG network down somehow?

Check a block explorer to see if new blocks are still being mined.

I just did. So, by the looks of it, seems the network is down. No info on hash rate or difficulty for the network. Or am I reading it wrong?

It looks like there was an attack on the network.

Also, AntMiner posted a notification: "XVG mining suspended due a network instability. We are waiting for a fix from XVG dev Team"

Looks like the network is still working, but there is some type of attack going on.
