Title: Re: Bit Coins Vs Lite Coins Post by: El_Happy on November 07, 2013, 05:29:41 PM I don't think so, litecoin is a good coin, but bitcoin is better and taken a lot of time to the people start to trust it, that's why bitcoin is now in $300 bucks.

that of Bitcoin, that must be absorbed by the market place. I suspect Litecoin to take a minimum of eight years to reach the market maturity and public acceptance that Bitcoin has reached so far. Title: Re: Bit Coins Vs Lite Coins Post by: MineNerd on November 08, 2013, 12:34:43 AM I just don't see it ever reaching the same value as bitcoin. However, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it hit $25-$50 someday.

Title: Re: Bit Coins Vs Lite Coins Post by: Gator-hex on November 08, 2013, 01:37:58 AM Litecoin is Bitcoin v2.0 with all the bugs worked out.
No 51% attack vulnerability. Lower/quicker transaction cost. No FPGAs & ASICs (the printing press remains in the hands of the people with a bog standard PC) Litecoin is a better crypto-currency, it just doesn't have the market awareness right now. There's a possibility that mining power centralization will eventually kill Bitcoin as big players, like the Winklevoss Twins, move in. Then there's a chance Litecoin will become the crypt-currency communities new champion. |
