Title: Lost Bitcoins = Higher Prices? (Deflationary Spiral)
Post by: nefanon on July 29, 2011, 05:20:23 PM
I'm not an economist or great mathematician, but what's going to happen when people start losing their bitcoins when they lose their wallet.dat files? Will that just gradually raise the price of each bitcoin as less are available?

The wiki had little to say on this:

Hold onto every 0.0000001 BTC you're making now, it'll be worth a fortune when you'll be 80. :D
