Step by step instructions:

2. Generate your private seed words and public key using their provided generator (https://genesiskernel.github.io/newKeys.html)
3. Save your seed words and public key. (Keep your seed words secret and safe!)
4. Create a new public gist on your account (https://gist.github.com/) with the filename (including underscores): genesis_public_key
5. Copy/Paste your public key in the Gist and save it.
(Extra Step). If you add ;indiagator (eg. yourpublickey; indiagator) to the end of your public key we both get an extra 10 tokens :)
Depending on when you enter the airdrop you'll receive ~115 GEN tokens (+10 if you add a referral).

I’ve been following the Genesis project for quite a while and I like it a whole lot. It appears they have a family of three platforms based on the same source code: eGaaS for governmental projects (private distributed ledger), Apla Enterprise Network (public permissioned) for businesses, and Genesis (public, non-permissioned) as a sandbox for developers. With eGaaS and Apla they’re working on big eGov-related projects (currently, proof-of-concepts and pilots) in UAE, China, India and Europe. Genesis has a very nice integrated development environment. I've been reading through their documentation and playing with interface pages and smart contracts (which they have many included in the quick start pack, and they are easy to build). Doesn't look too difficult, and all working nice. i think there is no wallet just remember your seed and get your public key all info in Github.

So how to check whether I received airdrop or not?

The platform's client software is your wallet. When the mainnet goes live, you download the client software or log in via web interface and enter your wallet with the seed you generated when going through the steps in the first message of this post. Please let me know if you have more questions.

Is there any other ANN beside this one? At the GitHub page the last people who registered got 111 coins, is that the current counter? because in the comments someone asked 4 days ago if you still do payouts. He got no answer...

is this still alive? didn't manage it to join earlier, but i will participate now. just got my GitHub account rdy. But will there even be some development? Is a additional ANN thread planed, at a later stage?
