Providing there isn't a dump coming soon I would say that would be realistic.

Technically hit a high of $417 over on btcchina before correcting back below $400.  Getting a little crazy over in china right now.

If it's not $500 by time I wake up (although I have not slept since this rally started, so I might be asleep for a while) I'm going to probably be quite displeased.

dont think so, but connection to bitcoinity is gone.  If you got to the home page, https://vip.btcchina.com/, you can see trades happening by refreshing and looking at the price and the volume on the top bar... looks like the crash was "caught" at around 2450

I say we should just take a breather, preferably at or near the current ATH. Don't rush ahead, and give the market some time to consolidate.

On BTC China the current peak is 2630 CNY or 431.82 USD.

Just a guess but i'd say we'll hit $400 on Mt.Gox by Monday.

well, coinbase seems to be stuck around 350 so I'd say 400 for them by Tuesday....

china is already at 408, I am guessing there must be some difficulty getting cny back to euros or usd, or we would have seen a major price jump already.
could be all the people pulling btc out of bitmet, or something like that

I suppose today there will be a few bear traps before it reaches $400 on bitstamp.
Market depth today is pretty balanced, but the Chinese are all still crazy buying, and, tomorrow's morning will probably opens new horizons.

I completely recovered my Cyprus losses back in April. That time I sold a part of my bitcoins for less than $200 and now I regret a bit.
Now I'm just building my retirement fund which is of course denominated in BTC.

The price chart shows a parabolic rise that probably isn't sustainable.

Balanced? On bitstamp? Its awfully bearish on stamp. 3mill to $400; only 5mill in bids on the exchange.

Who cares about bitstamp ? BTCChina rules the market now.
The problem is that Western people are more stingy and hungry for fiat. Instead of correction, I expect terrible bear trap on bitstamp caused by yet another minor trap at BTCChina.
I won't get any profit of it as I'm completely out of fiat today. But it will be a pleasure to see bears caught once again.

Expect sub-200 prices and not to see 200 again for a while.

keep on dreaming. When you wake up, realise that there are Chinese in the town now and they eat up all bitcoins. Then maybe you will understand the situation which is slightly different than in the previous bubbles.

Where do you view the chinese stats in terms of increased trades?
