There's just too much buy support.  Every attempted crash gets immediately bought up.  People are not nervous at current prices.  Once you start getting to the $800-$900 range, that will change.  Hands will get much weaker but the desire to break $1000 I think, we'll push us through.  They'll be some final panic buying just north of $1100 and then an epic crash.

Don't forget which markets are driving us. Hint: they're ones that don't use USD. I don't know if there will be skittishness around the 4000 CNY mark, but it is a possibility (assuming we get there and don't plateau or retrace before that).

By the rate of increase of tops (32-266 in 22 months) I think $650-$800 is most probable. Cuadruple digits will have to wait for next year.

It's not only China that is carrying up the price,I'm finding people are now having an interest on even paying way more than Gox for BTC.I'd be very cautious about calling a top with a country that has such a large middle class and is becoming more technically aware.Google trends (https://www.google.com/trends/explore?q=bitcoin#q=bitcoin&date=today%203-m&cmpt=q) has also been going up.

A retrace back along the low 300s and into the 200s is my outlook for rest of the weekend.  Well that's my view and I've shorted ~200BTC in the 344-349 range to back it up.

We're at the top for now, only stupid people are currently still buying. It might make the 440 but doubling price in a few weeks will make people itching to sell.

more people have been through the 250 to 50 drop and seen the 32 to 2 (was it?) drop.

It was sorta written of both times by all the people that "know" economic institutions/ smart professors and media  as the end, and yet is has defied them and come back.

This makes people more battle hardened and inured to price collapsed. Last high 250, you just hold if take profit later if you really wanted to.

We need to weight the dollar amounts voted by the number of BTC held. And we need more votes!

this makes the most sense to me. maybe a psychological 500 peak, 250 bottom. it seems that bitcoin likes to take 2 steps forward and 1 back.

here is some group wisdom for you.. i averaged it all out.

251 people voted, for a sum total of 176,900.. so divide the total by the number of people who voted, and it turns out to be an average $704.

though i did count $1100+ as $1100, so it should be a little bit higher than that.

i think my tendency is to underestimate.. i initially voted at $500.

i find it very very funny that 900 $ got the least votes.
