15 years alts will make you rich and will become popular. Right now its the younger gen getting into crypto but they barely even have a job. The older generation will wake up by there children's and invest and then it will take off. Everyone will understand crypto and invest. It will take 15 years. The cell phone took a lot of growing up. Look at the iPhone 8. That's about 8 to 10 years  of innovation and everyone have one. Older parents are catching on buying an iPhone but probably the iPhone 6 ..a lot of investors here that are american will need to pay off mortgages n taxes before they can be serious about investing. It will take a lot of time before a larger market cap

Yes the alts have a long time before rising, And 15 years is enough for that. I'm sure that many young people today will be rich because of the crypto currency in the past years.

I believe we would have a clear vision for cryptocurrency in the coming two years. That would either be an end or a opening of new market for crypto to expand and with current R&D and adoption rate, it would only require a 5 years of supportive environment to get popular around the world.
Alts would rule within 2025.

This is another words and forms of speculations about altcoins, the 15 years speculations are big chances on altcoins to become popular but it depends on how the management of alts the way they manage it, on how to become successfully operated on a long life journey. But alts are only base on how the king of cryptocurrency being moves on the line of markets. And if majority of people would also adopt alts it would surely become successful and popular even for only a few years.

Fifteen years?  Are you kidding?  Many people have became rich in a matter of one or two years.  Depending on how much you start out with you can make a lot of money in a few months.  Fifteen years in the cryptocurrency world is an eternity.  No one should think that far ahead.  

It depends on whether the project is successful or not, and what is important is the location of the blockchain in the future buddy  ;D

I also firmly believe in that.The market need time to be good enough for us.

It is an eternity. But holding is also an eternity. If money grows on trees it will take along time for it to fruit up. For the average Joe they are making 50k a year. Unless they saved up that's not a lot of money into alt coins. More time more money. Wall street money is another story I have to get into that later.

15 years is not an eternity though... sometimes you need to have a long term focus, not a short term one.

Fifteen years in the real world is another story but in the cryptocurrency world it IS an eternity.  Bitcoin has only been around for 9 years and it seems much longer.  The cryptocurrency market has been bearish for about 4 months and people are crying like babies after returning their Lambos.  These 4 months feel like years but the market can easily go bullish and it could break all time highs in a few months.

I agree that it will take a bit more time before crypto will be widely accepted around the world.
Yes, many people still do not understand it but it is already popular due to publicity (good/bad) from mainstream media.
Wide adoption could be faster than your 15 years

I believe in this upcoming ICO that aims to bring in the masses into crypto. This will have a better return than many altcoins.

Maybe less than 15 years that many great projects will come to fruition. In the process, many will die because the team will not bring anything to the reality.

Well I believe that would be a long enough duration for market of alts to rise and develop all the more for wide adoption.
surely enough even bitcoin did not rise to fame and elegance in just a matter of weeks, but years.
We all sure hope that alts would rise to that fame someday. Maybe an indication will be visible in 2-4 years form now. Otherwise, their good as collapsed.

In the span of 15 years, definitely there will be alts that will be like btc's price value when that time comes and the one's investing now could have been got richer. I believe that there is great potential in altcoins and is now slowly adopted by many corporations to improve the payment transactions and other related business transactions which potentially benefit majority of the people.

Yeah it takes time and sometimes quite a long time but most people in crypto don't have that kind of patience to hold for a long time, most of them only hold for 3-5 months before moving to another coin. I agree that in 15 years crypto will become very popular and there will be a lot of coin that's worth more than bitcoin so it's definitely a good things to hold it until then.

15 years is not enough, many people didn't quite familiar and understand how it really works and how does it really change the world of payment system if the the cryptocurrency ecosystem value is not stable. Unlike internet it makes the world closer we can communicate instantly versus the the old fashion telegram, snail mail and the dying emails. Cryptocurrency make us rich only for trading but not for practical purpose like payment and other convenient way for transaction purposes. Unlike internet where it serves many purpose, but cryptocurrency is still not reachable and more convincing to older generations. Internet convinced to older generations like instant communication through their love ones who are far from reach to other parts of the world. How can we convince the older generations about the convenience of cryptocurrency in the future ?

I'm not a big fan of predicting the distant future. 1001 different things would happen in the next 15 years, and it's impossible to consider every factor.

That being said, the most probable outcome is that useless alts die, but many alts with good teams and good fundamentals will flourish and become very strong till then.

In my opinion that too long, cryptocurrency will be more popular in every years because Bitcoin just like internet and easy to understand it because alot of information in google about it. I think in about 5 years the price of BTC can be going up to about $500K. Currently about 1% of people in the world know and understanding about cryptocurrency, and this number will growing in a few years.

Nope it's not need 15 years to become popular the alternative coins, in fact there are some alternative coins that have a good future now and have a great performance. It's stable compare to the others. And also, there are many investor. I think it only need a 5-6 months before alternative coin become known

15 years ? OMG . I hope few years like from 2 to 3 years. Its getting popular by giant steps now, soon there will not be any cash money

I think 10 years is enough if you are holding the right altcoin or an altcoin that have a solid development and with a big community support. Ethereum for example it only takes a few years before it became very popular and now top 2 in coinmarketcap.

Well, we are willing to wait ten years, as long as all of cryptocurrencies has grown well and we earned it.

We cannot definitely say that with full confidence, but it is willing to happen. One thing is that governments were not against cell-phones, white this situation is a little bit different, but still it might be same popular as the phones.
