Title: Dual-Pair Exchange Trading | The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Post by: MicroGuy on November 09, 2013, 04:13:24 PM
Please share your thoughts on the dynamics of dual-pair trading.

For example on Cryptsy some coins have trading pairs in both BTC and LTC markets. If a buyer/seller visits the exchange and wants to trade the currency how would he go about getting the best deal. Would it not be more complex and require trading in both markets? If so would this not possibly require the buyer or seller to "hesitate" and look for simpler coins to trade?

Eventually people will be running intra-exchange arb bots between the pairs on the exchange making it unimportant for the casual buyer to purchase through multiple channels.
